you can only do this if you have a tool to do it such as an rstuner vci, else you just have to drive around a lot for the ecu to 're-learn' its air/fuel ratios. I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice a power drop ;)
I did mention it before! Its where you clear the trim tables so your car learns what to do with the air/fuel mixture faster. I suspect yours was getting it wrong to start off with and was under fueling or something like.
If your friend had it before its not new :p
When you map the car, you will get a new entry in the map history marked as 'fastchip'. If that's what you mean?
Thanks for the feedback. I wish you had cleared down you tables first though as I think that was the issue. Could also be that your timing is different to mine I suppose?
are you sure your not just being a big girls blouse? :p
this setup is much louder than the stock airbox, most who fit it like myself, are actually happy of the raw, rough, 'bat out of hell' type sound :)
vids still required!
Pretty much what it shows on your screenshot. When you turn the ignition into the on position (not starting the car), then you click connect and it should do a few scans, then show you the screen you have posted.
Just to make sure, this isn't a new RSTuner is it? As you don't need to unlock a...
You can move the whole system forwards at the join to the center pipe. Mine doesn't say ktec on it (older version I expect), but it sticks out a good 2cm to 3cm! I can take pics if you like? Let my know.
my KTEC one didnt come like that, I have the KTEC one on the janspeed one. I was saying that without it, its impossible to line up 100%. My blueflame has it on both tips as mentioned which was a breeze to setup and always looked spot on! probably why I haven't wold it yet even though its been...
I have been hopping back and forth between these to pics and cant decide if the ph1 bracket is bigger or not (or if you just have a bigger battery?)...
I think its the latter as ECU bracket is the same, yet your batter comes further along it? @McGherkin
it doesn't come preset in the box lol. they would have just put it on and done the clamp up. you can only set it when it on your car.
believe me it makes like a lot easier when fitting to have an adjustable tip. My KTEC supersports is impossible to line up without one - it either sits central...
because people has trouble getting them to sit level on the bumper I expect. lots of backboxes are like this. My blue-flame is adjustable on both tips! As for looking 'w**k', you shouldn't notice it if it is put on properly! put the clamp up the other way and it will be hidden behind the bumper.
