    There seems to be a group buy misunderstanding. As this is a group buy all payments and shipments need to be handled by the group buy organiser (RichCup) After closure of the group buy the organiser places the complete order at once.

    The Pro version has I/O channels. For instance you can run a wideband sensor (not included) output through them. This will show up in datalog as an extra parameter which indicates exact AFR. Useful for cammed cars.

    R3 maxi pistons 7711160678. 342 Euro each. R3 pistons 7711160270. 68 Euro each. Strengthened rod bolts 7711126624. Both pistons are for the -830 , buy I guess they can be use in a -730 as well. Don't know the difference between the 2 , haven't seen them yet.

    Renault Sport (not to be confused with r-sport) developed 2 Groupe_N calibrations. One with standard cams and one for use with their Groupe_N intake cam. Obviously the 'high idle'one should be used icw the intake cam.

    Not 8000, 7650 rpm. Nevertheless still impressive ! R3 kit engine is set at 7800 rpm with lightened pistons. Rebuild recommendation every 2000 km.

    They become a weak point when you go beyond the design limit, which seems to be around the region of 7600-7700 rpm for sustained operation. As you already pointed out. Not bad for a long stroker I would say..

    With different cams, the safe rev. limit is determined by the valve train components. Not the rods/rod bolts.

    It's gone in open loop. Max VE is at 5500 rpm. CL/OL transition is the MAIN reason for the 'kick' It's not that VE 'switches ON' all of a sudden. For the 197 you are correct.

    It is the ECU shifting from 'closed loop' to 'open loop', nothing else. Rpm trip point can be changed accordingly.

    Could be: - wrong cam timing - one or more leaking valves - hydr tappets - wrong IACV connection or a combination of the above.

    Yes he didn't follow/read/understand the instructions. Anyway it can't happen any more with the latest RST release. A bit like turning your ESP off and then blaming Renault your car hugged a tree.
