If the gripper is like the Quaife then the S/N should be on the wetside, remove NS drive shaft and should be stamped there, maybe James or anyone else confirm.
As sudgested, totally clean up the area with spray brake cleaner to get all oil out.
All it takes is a few drips to make it look more...
So you used the NS-2R 180 compound (Harder), any reason why you didn't go for the 120 (medium)? Guessing the 120c would be better suited to wet weather use.
How did you wear them down was that in one day or was that a different set of tyres (pictured above).
Gutted for you mate, and as said before, of all the places it lost power it happened there, not good really. Hope you get it sorted. Your car does look like a right handful :)
Thanks mate, i was only messing regarding the brake testing, we all get on and do respect each other on track (well at this stage we do anyway lol) Yes agree I could have been brave (or silly) trying to cut in as there was many opportunity that arose after watching the video (its strange how you...

mark @MicKPM yea its the oem yellow one, Iv removed other terminal pins before but could figure out how to remove the ecu one and didn't want to start messing about. (just wanted to slip shrink tubing over the 24 and 54 wires as these are now bridged with a resistor. Sorry clogging up your...
Dont bin all that good wire mate some good spares in there. Funnily I hate the braided hose covering too and avoided using it on my current build, on my previous car they chaffed the inside hose so not good.
Race entry sent in for Thruxton in 2 weeks, really looking forward to that one, its always been on my hit list.
Still got teething problems with the cars rev limiter, files from Brands confirmed that its still cutting out at high rpm, files now have been sent off to Gems who make the Gen90, so...
Fitted mine recently, if you already have wires going to that area you may have to extend them or replace with longer items due to the pod being further away from the dash
