Couldn't believe this, had a day off to do the non-online Christmas shopping (now done, way quicker than I expected) and one thing I needed to get was a DS, didn't order online as it wasn't any cheaper.
Bloody sold out! Gamestation were out, Game, WHSmiths, Woolworths, the local indie etc. I...
I think the idea was to initially restrict it to ClioSport/Renaultsport and close friends etc so it doesn't get out of hand. Depending on numbers from these avenues the rest could then be looked at.
It could indeed become very very big indeed, which is good financially but a bit of a...
Look at the territory its in though, firmly in the £18-20k "new-wave" of hot hatches like the Golf and VXR, its punching well above its weight as usual, especially considering the engine hasn't changed for years now.
Did you see the tractor turn up at the end? Thought that was quite apt, if we had got him to pose with his tractor with us we would have won the meet-photo competition easy!
Simple one really, whats the best way to go about painting a strut-brace ( currently red) a nice mondial-blue colour - or thereabouts, I'm assuming it will need a few undercoats of something.
Could get expensive if I get some actual mondial-blue from Renault, any good subsitutes out there?
I was just about to say thats pretty much exactly how it looked when I took it (nailed the colour balance for once!), hugely different to how it looked in the car park at 3pm.
You've described in great detail exactly what happens to mine in both of those situtations. My driveway requires full right-lock and happens to be a slight raise, thats when I first discovered it. I've only noticed the lift-off at low speeds thing in the past month or so which is odd, but I have...
Thats a joke right?!
If not, Daniel Sola has just taken that hairpin at a ridiculous speed (you can see the fresh rubber on the track) and knocked it over, I snapped it mid-flight.
and I didn't realise how close this car got whilst I was in the middle of the road..!
I noticed someone taking a shot of mine (S25 CUP) and Omar's in the car park, anyone got it? I never got round to getting any individual car park shots.
As always full size pics are available, just PM me.
Sounds perfect for me to be honest, looks fantastic as well. Will probably give them a call early January and get one ordered.
When you say easy to install how easy do you mean? Just a case of removing the current box and pipe, then replacing it and putting the air feed down near the front...
Bit more noise would be nice but only when I'm accelerating hard, don't want anything boomy when idle or at low speeds (which is why I thought a nice IK would be a good idea), I commute in it so I need some rest occasionally!
If going down the springs route I quite fancy going a little bit...
Got about £300 (£400 at a push) to spend on the Cup, whats the best thing to go for? Everything is currently completely standard apart from an ITG panel filter and all bulbs changed.
Hillpower Induction kit is in my thoughts at the moment as apparently thats around £300. Coilovers are out of...
Its called rush-releasing a console to try and make an impact before the PS3 and Revolution comes out, and it being Christmas also helps. Not to mention a nice console shortage is always a nice marketing tool, people want things more if its hard to get and it generates loads of news coverage if...
Might be a bit late for this, but I re-waxed my car (Meguiars NXT) just before the cold snap a few weeks back, now the dirt and stuff just hoses straight off as its still pretty glass like. Get a time machine and you're sorted!
As water beads on the surface though after a good waxing you do...
Eh?! What do you have then? I have a 172 Cup and it has auto wipers. They are bloody horrible, don't work when its drizzling but at the same time it has no intermittent wipe, so you have to manually move the stick every ten seconds and do it yourself, hows that for progress!
Got the same problem, had it since I got it (8k) and now on 16k its getting worse. Full lock is the noisiest instance of it but it also occurs when decelerating as you mentioned as well.
I'm actually scared to take it in to get it looked at, mainly because apart from that I've not had a...
Hard to see, seems a bit pointless considering there is a large round rev-meter right in front of you clearly showing everything in much more detail.
I've spotted it out of the corner of my eye a few times, only ever at night though. When I hear the dash rattling louder than the screaming...
Blimey, in another thread a few days back I moaned that we never get any snow here in Wiltshire after seeing all the pics of snow covered Clio's etc.
Well, I looked out the window tonight and shock fell upon me...how would I get home? You wait years for a bit of snow and then it all comes at...
I got mine from Canada and have bought a couple of UK games and accessories, all works fine.
So much good stuff around at the moment, the Kirby paintbrush game is bloody fantastic, add to that Mario Kart, Lost in Blue, Castlevania and Advance Wars DS (possibly my most played game ever...
