Wow.
I've already jumped ship from Canon and sold all of my bulk for M4/3 but if I hadn't this camera would have sealed the deal.
Might find myself selling my Panasonic GF3 and slapping my 20mm f/1.7 pancake onto this, have to wait for the price to drop mind, not shooting enough to justify a...
Nice choice, I happily shoot exclusively with a GF3 and 20mm f/1.7! Tell us how you get along with it.. and try not look to look at any links containing the bargain Samyang fisheye for M43..

stunning! think I need to test mine a little but to be fair the underwater bit on mine is the best footage, so could be bike rattle ruining the images or wet dull Wales!
hmmm generally shoot it with the 60fps option, think thats 720p which could be where I'm going wrong. Next time I'm biking I'll go 30fps 1080p and try to mount it to something not shaking like a dog s**ting razor blades!
This give you a good idea of GoPro versatility, mounted pretty much to everything I could and made the most of the underwater casing!
BUT I can't seem to get that HD quality I see in other movies :dapprove:

From what I've seen there is a big difference in quality between the original Go Pro and the HD, it's not just the resolution that's better.
Some of the sample video on YouTube are stunning but I've not had the same results, think you need good light and a steady surface for crisp footage.

Lee would be more than a starting point, it should be an excellent system. Check the price of the filters you want first as there aren't any included with that bundle. Alternatively you can go down the Lee holder - Hi-tech filter route.
Nice!
Viewfinder is the bit you look through, the GF3 doesn't have one which makes is quite a bit smaller.
Only briefly played with the kit lens but was quite impressed, especially with the OS (Optical Stabiliser). It'll certainly get you started and learning.
If you get into it you can then...
Depends what your shooting?
Personally I'd get (have) a GF3 or save a little more and get the new GX1. The only reason, as far as I can see, to go for the G3 is for a dedicated viewfinder.
flol, quite possible near escape, you've smudged the mirror! No wonder any attempts to clear the dust with a rocket blower have failed [assuming you tried this first].
I'd strongly suggest you cough up for a proper clean.
Darker for landscape shots? Are you trying to balance the foreground and sky, if so look into merging multiple exposures or GND filters; Cokin being the budget option and Lee the high end.
A CPL will reduce reflections and give you bluer skies.
Example pics would help, I suspect technique...
Having just sold my DSLR and lens collection to jump to m4/3 I can highly recommend the move.
A 40D + 10-22, 17-55 f/2.8 + 70-200 f4 was overkill for how I shoot these days and a DSLR is overkill for most people to be honest. My new GF3 + 20mm f/1.7 can do 95% of my shooting, infact I'll take...
Re: Current order situations for iPhone 4S!?
I ordered mine through o2 Online but as an upgrade customer, it said out of stock but it arrived in under a week.
Took all of 30 minutes to get bored on my 4S, its like my 3GS but a bit sharper and you can talk to it. Need some apps to show it off, might download real racing 2.
Scores and pixel peeping aside, the Lumix is going to give you more 'pro' looking images with the ability to produce shallower depth of field. Then you have the lenses; the Nikon doesn't appear to have anything available that can for instance touch the 20mm f/1.7.
Just sold my very good condition F4 Non-IS for £320, the guy got a bargain! Great lens and as it was used mostly for sport, never really wished for IS.
True, had a glance at Lloyds and the iPhone has £100 excess, just not sure £225 on insurance over 18 months is value for money having never claimed but sods law something will happen if I don't get cover.
Placed my upgrade order with o2 online last night, no idea how long it'll take but got bored of looking for stock! Can't wait, 3gs has about an hours battery life!!
Didn't get insurance this time, 12.50 per month, wtf, it goes up every year. Think I'll get a bank account with free insurance...
