Its always said that once you jump you shouldnt look back...Since i have owned my now departed ti 182 and my trophy. There have been possibly three cars i really wished i could have had if nto already comitted. @Lawro damn Ti 182 was one of them. Probably one of the most expensive 182's i have...
One lucky owner bagged a20k car the other day. price hasnt been openly advertised , but a collector(dealer) tried to break the deposit by offering more to the seller(who luckly had some morals). That one would have been worth having.
I am sure robs is a nice car but its been for sale for ages..
even if you take the supercharge off robs, stick it back to standard, and sell the kit to cover the costs of doing all that. your left with £9000 trophy with 33k. Thats not a particualry great price for a 33k car. but if you didnt...
Cheers @Filters
Yeah it's all manageable stuff right now. I would want to rebuild the engine to perfect factory standard before I did anything to it. So that side of things is years away financialy.
All the best
Chris
Well theres nothing like being laid up with a knackered back to get your internet price hunting shop on.
After I ditched the red mats, I threw some s/h RS ones in. However they were deffinatley letting the side down after the wheel was fitted so these arrived today...
283mm Brembo...
Pleased your all ok mate.. Might have been a blessing to go the way it did in the end.. rather than elsewhere.
you gonna detail the flatbed while its being ferried about ;)
..and sorry to say a ballach of a job it is too. involving removing the windscreen wiper mech.
I think there are two pumps but with the same part number. if you think about it. 1 does front or rear. the other pump does left and right headwashers. they dont fire at exactley the same time...
Respect is due TT. I love the endless development you and NLC have put into your respective build threads.
p.s lol..."500bhp..I would just be bragging" i think that shipped sailed somewhere past a reliable everyday 300 ;)...not that you do.
Hello Masters of the Dark Arts,
I'm going to be doing a plug swap soon and figured it was the best time to give the camshaft cover a clean up. It got the usual spilt oil and grim kicking about. Not looking for miracles, just wondering what worked best. I tried some foam engine degress crap...
£500-£700 would be my guess. Depending on condition. you see some crazy money being spent on the ones from evos which arent as posh and dont tilt.
@JON FOZ has made the subrames more accessible to the many. Runners are just standard so any clio owner should already have them.
HI mate,
having a similar debate as I am doing the brembo converstion. I am finding that eibach for instance dont seem to do 10mm spacers. only 5 or 15mm. I have 5mm on order but looking at a few that have done it that might not be enough. I am wondering if 10mm is an awkard size for the hub...
yeah they are in all kinds of cars, megans, rs focus, corsa etc.. the design is the sportster or sportster cs for the low sided ones (i think). the problem being the same.. anything that was made for a manufacturer factory fit , renault, ford etc. has a car model specific base.
only the recaro...
If you buy recaro supplied recaros sportster, they will fit to trophy/capitalseating/ @JON FOZ subframes. As they have the same bolt spacing.
As said above ones that have been built for renault by recaro (ei taken out a 197/200) they have all in one sub frames welded on which probably take a...
