Christ Paul... you told me you had problems when you bought T120 and would need to calm down.

£10 cheaper on here in my clearout thread.
I had a 24 hour voucher for final value listing fee amnesty so stuck a load of stuff on ebay.
Chris

They are £250 collected or add postage which is a round £80...
Well after 5 weeks away and a lot of thinking.. She went up for sale. New screaming bundle of joy means my tinker time is going to be massively limited more than it was. Weekend drives will likely involve a baby seat. The Trophy is ace fun but only when on the edge. Crusing around in a clio...
Cooper is decompressed, open deck of block has been closed fancy bits all over the place. Plans for ALL the boost.. Lol.. Once he gets past this niggle.
Agree it's tough. Best mate is struggling with a mega r56 Mini Cooper build. It's been a year in bits. Finally it's back together and throwing vanos codes.. He's Pretty much tried everything to fix it. Wasn't the kind of problem he was expecting to get stopped by..and he's not even fitted the...
Likewise been working all weekend looking at stunning weather and my own car not moving a yard.
I guess that's that tough line between good will/mates rates and paying for a job. It's only possible to start kicking off when your firmly in a paying full price for everything situation.
Worst...
Front wise you basically have
54mm 172 non cup and 182 non cup
54mm 172 cup
60mm 182 cup
With the cup variants being a bit stiffer to match the spring rates. Most go for the cup in 54mm or 60mm as apart from oem non cup springs.. your likely to be fitting stiffer/lower springs.
Damn you @RMDavis I really didn't need a demo of the charger and diff tonight. hilarious...4th gear just gets dispatched..(to 70mph of course).
Too much to think about..time to sell a kidney
Ace car.... and the curry house recommendation was good too.
Tip....do the passenger first If you haave a shocker at least you can drive it to somone who can. Just make sure evry wire is unclipped and free. They are somtimes tied to the seat so even once uclipped pulling the seat out can rip them apart.
cheers @RMDavis if i wasnt stopping by yours on the way to work on monday evening, I know i would have some brembos on this weekend ;)
Hope your gearbox is nearing the car.
So freash from Germany so Eibach 15mm hubcentrics. The Eibach ones left plenty of space on the hub flange so sit flat.
I would guess you could have them shaved down to be 13mm if I really wanted before the lip of the flange fouled the inside of the spacer.
Some longer bolts and the wheel...
Worth looking at the state of your rear solid lines pre and post flexi. I had to have new ones installed as mine would simply have sheared off the minute you tried to unscrew them.
Hi @T.Trophy and @NorthloopCup
Done some measuring on my brembo setup.. Steve, click my thread if you want to have a gander. My conclusion with trophy et 45 turinis is probably 7-8mm minimum for the 280mm kits. spoke clearence wise it might be better on 300mm ironicaly.. but then wheel...
Bit of testing today.. @SharkyUK @green for your interest.
Nicked a wheel of the car. These are genuine renault trophy ET45's.
First test face down. On my 280mm setup on this wheel the weights cleared with no issues. I can see on 300mm kits this might become more of a problem.
It was...
I like them but TBH.. Never driven a 182 with brand new standard ones. Mine is also a Weekend car. I would find the mounts/engine mounts/powerflex ect all too much for a daily. It's does rattle a bit ;)
Yeah wanted the option to possibly run winter wheels on 15" at some point. However the rota setup came up for sale so went for it.
if you take 7mm off your pad will be getting close to the bell on the inside. your disc internaly closer to the caliper as well. plus you will have a fair bit of...
I dont know the answer but you also want to know which turinis as they all have different offests.
