... you can have the ones that cam off my old ones.. as I , like marc said just bought a set of 182 shocks for new bits.. and the shocks will do as lofts spares... bushes are knackered but you happy to have the covers althougg they are a bit tatty.
Not sure but keys can 100% be order from renault thru the vin. And come with the correct blade. They then get syncd to the car and I believe and any old keys not present at this stage are no longer any use.
You can swap from as scrapped car but I "think" you also need to swap the uch and the...

So the first sat in months thats i have
1. not had a knackered back
2. not been busy
3. not been raining..
So after the trip to @MicKPM for nice new belts and real revs. A few bits to sort. New stupid clip under the bonnet that holds the water pipe was broken after my windscreen jet...
HI Folks
and yes I will be getting someone competent to do the work if its needed.. ;)
Car is a 182 Trophy with ABS
So from what I can gather.
Brembos are great but longer pedal due to the extra fluid needed to activate them. This reads as "better modulation" by everyone who has done it.
So...
In a word yes you will also need to remove the tensioners.
The only2 issue you have will be the air bag lights as 182 seats have airbags. Trophy trendlines don't, so factory fitted cars have the airbag ecu reprogrammed to not look for them. Its a simple resistor fix otherwise and there are...
Hello NW folks,
Anyone know of a cheap blast and powder place near Warrington or saints? Just looking to tidy a few small brackets up from the engine bay so not needing high quality job as you do with wheels.
Cheers
Chris
HI all,
what would anyone advise to protect the rear shocks from road salt etc. About to fit my sachs replacments which are silly money compared to 182 shocks. Looking at prvious sachs rears they seem to be prone to rusting before failing.
Its not a concours show car but also i dont fancy just...
I am sure i will be corrected but a bit of weight saving, i think they are also thicker (might be worng on that) and a tbh a bit different. If i wasnt going for bells i would probbaly go for 300mm discs but on trophy et45 wheels that means big spacers which i am not keen on. i think Mark is...
..are all hubs, irrelevant of 172/cup/182/cup etc. the same layout brake mount wise as each other?
I have some 172 cup hubs which i want to hand to the engineer, along with 280mm brackets to mill my brembo calipers out for 283mm bell and rotas. They will be going on my trophy which i know...
how bad where your original leads and where they genuine?. got a set that are old but worked in my shed if you wanna try them. dont think i kept the coil pack.. did a refreash not long ago and swapped a few bits out.
Yes Mick,
3rd gear is now much more amusing on the b roads. "Timing" was definatley "Right"to get things done in my car plan time line.
...missing oil plate bolt sourced and already fitted as per advisories. ;)
Anyone able to take a pic with the airbox out the car for me but with mounts in?
Going back to standard and trying to work out what I am missing If anything I dont appear to have any at all.
Cheers
Chris

A day out to Long Eaton and thanks to @MicKPM , 120 now has new belts, dephaser, and water pump. Basically I took the decision to only ever mod a 2nd engine on a bench and untill that gets done in 300 years time.. Will just enjoy a well running car and not have to tweek this engine...
