lol, didnt you buy a Subaru? Not sure that qualifies as awesome :quiet:
Well, yes. She's not the greatest fan im honest, although she might change her tune if she drives it i suppose! Which brings me onto the next review nicely...
Done 600 miles in the 197 this week, & to be honest, i spent...
Somebody asked about this the other day, so i thought i had better 'publish our accounts' being that its financial yearend and all that ;)
After the first 10 weeks of football, we had 10 regular 'up front' players and a variety of 'pay per play' players (paying £428.40 in total), giving a...
On the flipside, it also ensures that the clutch is released in exactly the same way each & everytime - prolonging its lifespan massively.
I only ever found it irritating in 1st really, took quite a bit of concentration to remove the 'jerkiness'.
Dont think they fit unfortunately :dapprove: Bilstein only list them for the 2.0 normal clio, not the 197/200, hence no one has fitted them yet!!
Slight error by Demon Tweeks there me thinks. Shame really, <3 Bilstein stuff.
Why thank you :o
Personally, id just leave it as it is and enjoy driving it.
Perhaps even do some track days to really learn how to drive/explore the limits of your car/talent in a relatively safe environment :)
lol xx
Yeah, will do a couple of days in it im sure - hopefully sooner rather than later!!
Although as per at Brands, cornering speed comparisons between cars on cut-slicks and road-tyres are slightly pointless :rasp:
You wont lol. Cruise actually makes the mpg worse, so unless you are sitting at 60mph, your 200 has no chance of getting to 30mpg ;)
I do miss it though, having to alternate between holding the accelerator down with your left/right foot due to angle tiredness is FTL.
Glad you all like the...
Sorry, struggling to understand what you mean .... must be the language barrier?
If you mean the box, i think its great. If you mean the car feels tall ie big, you're right, its massive lol. Makes Sarah TT look like a toy car
Trophy hasnt moved since last Friday, is now SORN as well, so...
Just got through the 1st tank of fuel. Trip computer said 29.2mpg lol .... although that has included 85% use in the BMW lane of my private road, at a consistent speed of circa 75-90 leptons. However, after hearing that they arent the most accurate & tend to underread, i thought id work it out...
It is cars like this that have made me buy a newer clio.
My Trophy is now in hiding until all the plebs/badamans/bredrin crash all the Mk2's and they are cool again.
Utter retards. Blud.
Glad someone does lol :o Although, after driving home with it in last night, i dont think i'll be keeping it - armchair stylee doesnt suit the french f4rtbox. In fact, i've removed it already.
As Mike put it, Fortuna by name, fortunate not to fall off the road at the 1st corner. They are quite...
Well its just placed there at the moment, but it simply slides over the rear drinks holders/handbrake area. Then you screw it down.
I'm going to see what its like over the next couple of days then make a decision whether i keep it or not.
Only slight issue is when its down, its literally...
Already been down that road, did save money, but spent 100 miles a day wishing i wasnt driving the 320d lol ...
Cambelt hasnt been done yet, is just over 4 years old, so will probably get Fred to do it at some point i would imagine.
Just fitted my armrest - certainly makes the...
Noticed that my recently purchased 197 Cup has quite a bit of vibration through the pedals. Not particularly noticeable at lower speeds, but from 60-85mph its pretty noticeable/irritating.
Similar to the feeling you get from unbalanced wheels, but there is no vibration through the steering...
lol. Was waiting for that!! The answers no btw :rasp:
Ah, thats useful to know! Thats the 1st modification then ... will see how much they are from Renault.
No chance, i like the amphasite too much :o
Im not so sure tbh, imho they look really average on Nimbus!!
H&R springs are a maybe, although i'd probably just get KW V1's if i were going to change the suspension at all - never really been a fan of the bouncy ride that 'just springs' tend to give.
Nah, was on the way to Budgie's from Steve's place - though the footy pitch would offer some nice background. Then some ejit in a red corsa dumped their car in front of me, despite it being pretty obvious i was trying to take some pretty photos :quiet:
I did. Was better, but not worth 2 or 3...
Picked this up on Saturday from Steve Murr - who had very kindly kept it for 3 weeks for me whilst i sold the fleet of BMW's ... Generally in pretty mint condition, after no doubt having approximately 15 layers of polish/wax/other detailing things lavished on it
Spec wise, its Nimbus, which...
