Yes the centre one by the wiper mechanism. Bin it fella.
Where the front jacking point is , that is where the two skins meet , there should be a small recess for the water to escape , as long as the hole is clear , it will be fine .
When I had my Ph1 fill with water back in 2009 , I ripped out the centre rubber drain tube and I haven't ever had a problem since .
With regard to the sill filling with water , I'd say it has to pass through as water will get in anywhere , I'd say the under seal has blocked the drain passage...
I would say not , as you have to heat the glue holding the lens on .
I also thought I was going to paint inside black .
Happy days in scraping off the chrome .
I have a few spare lamps so I'll be experimenting soon then .
Go to the engine bay fuse / relay box , next to the small relays are 2 large ones .
locate the fuel pump relay and bridge the wires and see if the pump runs.
That is quite common on Renaults lol
Be sure to not forget the little bevelled washer that slips over the dowel for the swinging adjuster arm when fitting the new shoes.
The earth for these lamps comes up from front of vehicle to the lamp cluster and back off again to the front .
I'd be giving the cluster plugs new earths and it should sort it .
Run new wire to body inside boot car near to lamp .
Wow - what a thread . Just read the last half of it now.
I know , I know , it's not Mapped yet ,but may still have potential be good in the end.
I hope it is as its cost a bit.
Once Dan has the results of the back to back results we will all know one way or another .
With Regards to the Rs2 ...
Sounds like your engine mounts are weak or sunk and it causing the down pipe to hit the heat shield on the subframe .
If the mounts have been changed then check for hoses touching ect near the bulkhead area
Ah ok didn't know that .
Is it to do with the diameter of the column or something else ?
I'm sure if any modifying could have been done , you'd have done it .
Those Roll Bar Bushes are a right Royal pain in the backside to fit , good job you have everything on the floor.
Incidentally what's the reason you are using a Ph2 squib ?
Nice work on the rear catches -a thing I need to sort when I get my CMComposites rear screen.
All you need for the wipers to park is an additional perm power supply .
The motor has a break in the motor circuit as such and parks there if power it there , if no power is there like Tony's then they park where ever turned off .
This is coming on a treat Michael , I absolutely love the colour of the engine bay , give the subframe a quick paint while it is out , otherwise you'll kick yourself later . [emoji6]
Any links to that paint you've used for the bay M8.
