    You realy need to get the car plugged into a Renault clip computer I'd recon one of the lambeda sensors.

    Id get the battery checked they die a lot in the cold weatheer any more than 5 years and you have done well with the battery.

    Resister pack dead or the fan is dead, run a multimeter to the fan if its got power the motors dead if it doesn't then the resister packs dead.

    There is no best height stock is a very good setup. Drop it to the floor all you want with cut springs/coilovers but the ride will have to suffer.

    If the batterys lasted 9 years its bound to be dead Ive not often seen them last that long. THe cold weather kills them RAC/AA shows how many die as the weather egts cold its amazing

    Sorry I meant 258 some places say there 239 there the same. Same goes for 259 some places say there 260 they the same brakes 1mm doesn't matter there the same.

    Best off searching for MPG there not great though 6 speed all of them not massivly high geared though heavy depends how hard you are with theem unfortauntly best asking others its a hot hatch so drive it like that and the'll go quick Not quiet on the motorway thats not there intended place...

    1.2 8v brake conversion

    Go get the hub carrier, calipers and disks from a scrap yard etc only a few Mk2 2 clios used the smaller 239mm disks (1.2 8V and a few early 1.2 16V from memoery) get those bits and pads and it will bolt straight onto your car.

    Can be a paint to remove best off oiling it and any other trick you can think off. SO long as you don't damage the hole or the screw thread you'll be fine if you destroy it when you remove it,

    Be careful injectors are running near full duration as it is. chnage them and you should have a bit more power.

    Helicoil th head if bugger the threads is cheaper. Everything will bolt straight back up but the ECU won't just plug in unless you get a new or blanck coded one as they are locked the ECU/UCH you could get your 1.4 one remapped for the 1.6 though
