Chnaged the gearbox for a V8 one as well.
To be faire it wasn't a huge challenge even a clio with a low ratio box loaded down would pull a lot of weight
Extremes used to be dynamiques with a CD player as standard different material seats and a few stickers etc and a £100 higher price which ironicaly was the price of the cd upgrade for the dynamique owners.
You should be able to use the other box yep no problem.
If your car doesnt need the gearbox sensor its fine to fit the gearbox doing it the other way round ie none speedo sensored gearbox to a car which needs it is the problem
Check the gearbox you have now has oil though that might be the...
Speedo is supposed to come from one of the front wheels I forget which I think its elft but in reality it doesn't from memoery and all ABS sensor/rings have to be working
Depends how much money you throw at it and reliability, plus the gearbox is the week point and the VAG has the stronger box with more avaliable upgrades avaliable. The 1.8 was used in most Audi/Skoda/Seat/VW range loads of engine codes ie BAM etc. In the Us there pushing big hp from the engine...

Renault aren't a bad call for brake pads often ask for trdae discount if you want to try your luck whats the worst they can say offer cash etc
Yep a few have started not sure if everyone ever did it someone put the internals ina 172 block and used a 172 box though
Forget the Renault then IMO go for a VAG/Saab etc. VAgs been done and go on Audi/VW/Skoda/Seat forums 400hp can be bought offf the shelf. Matt Black off here built a 500hp...
Engine will fit with some cutting away. As for gearbox err depends could use a VAG 6 speed or 5 speed if you want.
Personaly I'd go stick a 1.8T VAG in it its been done before a few times box is stronger and tunning is easier as bits exist off the shelf.

Youve got an injector fault on number 3 injector swop it and the number 2 over and see if the problem continues on injector 3 or goes to injector 2. If it does move the injecotrs had it if not the wiring is the issue,
