Could be the pads you have on mate, I've just fitted DS3000 and they're similar, not much happens then they bite like nothing I've felt before. What pads are they again you have fitted?
Doesn't mention new discs and pads for each weekend in the rules, and tyres should be a minimum of something like 2mm it states. And surly a gearbox rebuild is only required when necessary. Dunno not really looked that far into it TBH.
So after what seems like endless issues with the OE brakes on my FF I've finally managed to fit the B4's from Compbrake I purchased back in Feb, I've coupled these with Ferodo DS3000 pads. At first after fitting they weren't all that but after 50 miles of bedding in they're now great and braking...
The Clio is a track car only, and was purchased as it's probably the best budget track car on the market.
So you own "both" rwd, fwd and 4wd then yeah? 😂
You have your preferences I have mine, as for the beating my chest comment this made me literally LOL coming from you. You're the Silverback of chest beating on this forum my friend.
Volvo's interiors are there strong point, especially the seats. I'd love another but just not sure I could justify the cost of them compared to say a 3 series as they're a little wooden to drive in comparison and wrong wheel driven. On the flip side the newer models like the v40/60 look much...
Will be fine for the M3 mate for everyday driving and very good for wet conditions for a high powered RWD. If you're a B road blaster though forget it as they're not good at all on the limit and just fold over on themselves if really pushed in the dry.
Anybody ever took part in this series? I may be able to get a sponsor from my company for next years races. Seems a pretty decent championship for an amateur?
Got RS3's on my ST155 and they're great in wet conditions not so great in the dry when pushing on as they have very soft side walls even with XL. I'll be fitting a set to my 16" cup wheels once the Pirelli's have worn for wet track days only, as they would just fold over and melt on a dry track.
Just cancel as its a rip off anyway even with discount, I've just moved over to BT from Sky. TV platform isn't as user friendly but much cheaper than Sky for fibre, basic TV and BT sport channels. Plus with all the decent android boxes out now you don't even need Sky anymore for Movies, Sport...
Needing some solid brake line extensions for my Compbrake 4 pot kit as the lines they supply are way to long and the OE lines are to short. So just need to get someone to make up 2 x 4-5" length of pipe with double flared ends and m10x1 male and m10x1 female unions attached so I can join the OE...
Not as simple as that mate as its so bloody tight, I had to:-
remove drivers wheel
remove the arch lining
remove the upper inlet
pull back the firewall material on the bulkhead
undo the 2 flare nuts with 11mm flair spanner
undo the 2 10mm bolts for the MC bracket
undo the 2 10mm bolts for the...
I feel for you pal I really do. I've had issues with mine recently where I changed everything brake related, hard lines, flexes, MC, ABS pump and it turned out to be the feckin abs rings on the front. My system ran totally empty when changing the above and I used a cheap £5 ezibleed kit and...
Used r888s here, can normally get a set of eBay in size 195/50/15 for less than £200 with decent tread if you're quick. Never used any other so can't comment on the difference to RSR'S.
