Personally, i think that they are worth soo little these days they are good to simply have around as a spare car, or commuter/daily/winter hack etc. My Trophy's worth far more to me than anyone else for example, & what else could i get for 3 grand that would be as good/fun/cheap to run.
I've seen the car, its considerably better/higher spec than 99% of Cliosports on this site.
Stacky just isnt particularly brilliant at getting his point across.
Just to clarify to anyone who didnt realise, football is on tonight.

Ah cool. Is a work iPhone so i dont care that much (we have huge data allowances), but dont want to take the pi55 lol ....
Is a weird one really, in all seriousness, the only thing i would use an iPad for is to come on CS, via Tapatalk (but on a bigger screen than my phone) and not sure if...
Or apparently you can simply connect to your iPad2 with no WIFI to your iPhone4 via 'tendering' then r4pe the 3G on that instead ...
An Apple geek will probably confirm/deny shortly ...
Exactly!! This is what 99% of ClioSport dont understand. Handling, is very much personal preference ;)
I very much prefer a tendency for oversteer on the limit, i think Ollie's words the other day after taking it for the MOT were 'i think its broken, feels like the rear is trying to overtake...
lol, not bad!! If you think thats bad though, you should go to Le Mans 24HR, almost comical some of the moves from the LMP1 cars :S
Yup, im coming through.
EFA.
To be honest, in order for the Trophy to be anywhere near as fun as the Williams, 106/205 Gti, Saxo Vts, Gti6/Rallye, etc etc you need the following:
Front dampers refurbed
Whiteline ARB set to stiff
Eibach Sportlines
-2 degrees camber (at least) on the front
At that point, you will...
Ha ha, not too bad, only £150 for all the fluids & filters (already had the spark plugs) and my time is free ;)
And yeah, its not really my daily, costs too much in fuel lol.
Spent some money this morning, after the headgasket being changed, i thought it wise to give it a full service. Was done on 89k, but tbh, im an untrustworthy sod, so thought i'd do it all again anyways, not the biggest expense in the world for piece of mind:
Engine: 8L of Castrol Edge 10W-60...
Stacky, if you want it fixed locally, send budgie a pm, whipping the box out & getting rebuilt isnt going to cost you anymore than 500 all in i wouldnt have thought.
Very nice. Quite stealthy as well which is always a bonus as you say!
Think i can see myself having one in a few years time, although i still dont think i'd be able to go for anything other than Cup pack, Recaro's & speedlines.
Was gonna say the picture is one from allvehicles website .... bet he'd be well impressed lol.
Just email asking them for some pictures of the actual car!
To be honest, its not just women, its 99% of the population.
When i sold my 172 cup in the recession, i 'downgraded', put 3 grand in the bank and bought an old 328i Sport.
At which point, everyone congratulated me on my new purchase and questioned why i had bought an expensive new car ...
:S
Re: Girl's reaction's to your Clio sports?
Sarah thinks the clio is fine (esp. after driving it on track), although im too old now to have it as my only car apparently ...
