Yup, changed both. Tempted to try just the Silvervisions though - would look like this, well in purple obviously:
Need to give it a clean & decide i think, so that'll be a few weeks at least lol ...
Depos/Silvervisions fitted at lunchtime. To be honest, not so sure if want?
Standard, complete with fried eggs:
Depos, with Silvervisions:
Obviously, it does help that the indicators are clean, & the rest of the car is under 3 months worth of dirt, but im not sure if they look right
Glad to be of service :)
Cars looking good, although im not a fan of the chromo door handles if im honest, colour coded would look much nicer! Re: the induction noise, they sound ace with the roof down! Oh wait, you dont have the gay version ...
But Galster, is the £120 wax actually any better than the £3 wax, or are you all buying into the fact that it is better because DW says it is better? I've got some pretty impressive results without anything more than a box of Autoglym stuff ...
Not trolling btw, genuinely interested, i dont...
Did you not see the T&Cs on the receipt i gave you? The car will self destruct if you put reps on it ... ;)
Ill go against the grain here, the OEM wheels looks miles better.
I prefer the term 'well loved' ....
Looks great tbh, although im really not a fan of F1's, unless theyre on a PH1 of course.
Im aiming for the 200k club, 100k is barely run in ;)
Check the throttle cable as well, they stretch & you only get about 80% of max throttle ...
Changed mine on the roadster and it felt like id added about 100bhp lol
Jesus Alan, should have said, i would have bought it off you !!!!
Re: the OP, if you modify, you will generally lose money, unless you buy 2nd hand, then take it all off before you sell ...
Personally, i cant remember the last time i lost any real money on a car, im sure the M3 will change that :o
Yup, bit silly really, but got what i paid for it, so not the end of the world ...
Sensible head says i should have kept it, was a fantastic car!! Will have another at some point no doubt.
Just get the car MOT'd now before the new comedy regs come in.
Tax it for 12 months, then tax it again for 12 months in December 2012, before your MOT runs out.
Dont have to worry for at least 2 years then lol ...
Is that it lol. Absolutely no point whatsoever buying a derv!!
At 24mpg vs 50mpg, you will save £100 a month. Which sounds great, until you realise that you are spending 3 grand to change.
Payback period = 30 months.
Christ, i do 100 miles a day, ROFL at 188 a week FFS.
Nah, didnt get round to doing the 320d, its easy enough though apparently ...
Only issue i have is that its cold outside, & tbh, im a bit of a wimp lol.
