Some I know from when I lived in Southampton is meant to be really good. Like me, he does it off his drive etc so it's not a proper lock up just so you're aware. Want me to send you the details? He's on faceache
I have all Ryobi stuff. Their impact gun is pretty decent for the money.
Worth checking out what torque you need for subframe bolts, adding 20% and then looking at specs on the impacts
I washed my first car (1.2 Clio) with a brillo pad.
As I was doing it, I did wonder why all the marks I hadnt previously been able to get off were coming off so easily.
Fun times.
Erm, I dont think so 🤣
In truth, I only noticed the flickering improve and was happy. By the time I go to bed and actually turn the tv on, im half asleep so barely notice 🤣
the 'dynamic' mode seems to have made it way better so I didnt investigate.
Ill have a look later on tonight to double check but come to think of it, I think I disabled some eco mode thing!
Thanks for the tip :)

Hisense 50" TV for something daft like £279.
Its actually not bad at all. Like, really.
I expected it to be a bit s**t but its not bad whatsoever.
@seb - you mentioned that the backlight...
For what its worth, I picked up the cheapest Hisense 50" tv the other day from Currys.
£269 or something daft.
For the money, im impressed. It hasnt caught fire (yet), it actually displays tv, its quick enough to do what I ask of it. Im baffled they can even turn a profit at that money, but as...
I actually identify as a female, but thanks.
Joking aside, I has a peen, its just then ill be buying into the red eco system. Ive got plenty of Ryobi batteries and, for me, I just dont need tools that are that good. Other than DIY and some mechanic bits, I dont use power tools. I cant justify...
Oh I wasnt going to make any excuses, I was proud.
Was it stupid? Yes.
Did I do something bad? Yes.
Did I care? No.
I HATED my manager there. Truly. The kind who did absolutely no work, yet claimed all the credit when we smashed it. A proper bone idle wanker. I knew I was leaving, he told me...
It was, hold on *gets out calculator*.........12 years ago....
I think they were limited to 55mph (not a legal thing, just Waitrose being Waitrose) and im 99% sure I managed a smidge over 70mph. 72 sticks in my mind?
'But theyre limited!' I hear you scream. Ah, well, come hither and sit down...
It shouldnt be too bad to be honest.
The other thing to remember is that polishing glass is silly hard work. What im saying is, dont worry about scratching the glass. Id give it a few minutes and spray some water on there. Repeat if required.
Let me know how you get on, kind of curious to know!
Something physically abraisive is kind of the only thing with coatings.
Once they set, theyre a pig to remove. Which coating did you use?
If you have a machine with a small head, that will be the one. If not, you can do it by hand as its only going to be a small section. MF towel and some...
As far as I know, I still hold the record for the fastest recorded speed out of a Waitrose van.
'If you werent leaving in 2 months, you would be fired'.....'Oh, Ill go now, shall I?'.....'Oh, no no, its fine. Im not impressed.'
In my defence, I was told to speed my deliveries up
🤷♂️
it gets better...
It appears it was a limited run thing so they dont have my set anymore flol. Sorry dude 🤣
If it helps, I barely ever use the teeny tiny one. Med and Large are spot on for 99% of the detailing I do...
Turtle Wax had a set that had their branding on it. Exactly the same as WW, even made by them IIRC, but just with TW branding.
I got them and they were way cheaper than the standard ones too. f**king love them.
We tried the same a few years ago after reviewing our charges.
We were also being absolutely hounded by a chap who was Car Salesman X Double Glazing Salesman level of keen. He was annoying AF but kept promising he would reduce our charges so I gave him a shot....
We were declined. Apparently...
