Yeah, possibly. But I don't mind doing it once in a while? The company it's from make their own but it's gotta just be the same stuff, just more expensive.
I'll give it a whirl and see how long it lasts. Generally high solid ceramic coatings are pretty chemically resistant. But then again, I...
Bit of a random one, but slightly detailing related...
Just had the new kitchen at home fitted. The wife wanted a Belfast/Butler sink and it's bloody enormous. I'm also slightly concerned about marks / stains. So, with plenty of it kicking around the garage, I thought "Why don't I ceramic coat...
I agree on the price front.
Yonks ago I treated myself to a Sony TV. Full HD (crowd goes wild...) (must have been about 14 years ago now). £900 for a 42".
Paid less than that just over a year ago for a 75" 4k
Got a 75" in my living room and, I can confirm, it is like a cinema 🤣. Waiting for an opportune moment to buy the smaller rear speakers to go with the sound bar and sub too for full surround sound.
Most of the comments I get about the TV are 'WTF'. But, honestly, I absolutely love it. The wall...
If I didnt do what I do for work, id probably just not care and have one. However, rocking up to do flooring measures to a customers house in one of those? Probably not ideal 🤣
It was amazon, not ebay (probably same difference)

Im surprised at how solid it was. You know sometimes they're flimsy and s**t? This is definitely not that
So, after posting about the 'bucket buddy' that @Louis then steered me off, I got home to a present from my BIL & SIL....
.....A f**king bucket buddy 🤣
What are the chances! Still, I think its an ebay jobby but seems solid AF. Enough room to store plenty of brushes, holes in the bottom and...
okay even with extremely limited use, its better than the Samsung one already! Thanks chaps!
God knows what samsung were playing at. some of the autocorrect suggestions were genuienly on crack. GBoard FTW! Cheers @Gally
Anyone got one of those 'Bucket Buddy' things?
The clip on things that you can store your spare brushes in?
Im constantly finding im having to root around for my little brushes in and amongst the big ones and its grating on me a bit.
Also, those turbo nozzles for the jetwashes. I see them...
Ive been monitoring this thread for ages, waiting for someone to explain this so I didnt look thick. A mesh is definitely something I need to consider then. Router is at the front of the house (wonderful for wifi down in the garage!) but the kitchen, conservatory and garden can be very lacking...
Whilst im definitely not an expert on this kind of thing, I really did struggle to tell the difference.
Again, im not an Apple user, so maybe im not the person to ask. However, it wasnt until my brother gave me his genuine ones to try that I actually noticed a difference. Even then, it wasnt...
A few months back, prepping for might flight to Japan (14 hours), I had that 'Oh f**king s**t' moment. In the house move, id lost my charging cable for my large over ear headphones - Nuraphones. Theyre a special charging cable (of course) and with the flight the following day, I was wrecked.
A...
@Clart I had a couple of pairs of fake airpods. Gave one set to the wife who really doesnt care about audio quality and she used them for well over 12 months before they refused to charge. Shes since got a proper legit pair as she has now proven she can be trusted not to lose them. Im not an...
I'd defo recommend their screen wash
Can dilute it down nicely and it lays down hydrophobic sealant every time you use the wipers. It's brilliant stuff
neither at the moment. Youve got to wait until tonight for the proper sale. I just checked this to see if it had popped on early and it hasnt yet.
Youll know when its properly live as its a massive discount usually
Yep, got that through the post. something under a tenner (£6.95?) for delivery and a free 2.5L snowfoam....whats not to like?
I dont tend to use PH Neutral foam but its handy for when I detail cars with carbon ceramic brakes. Or, especially in winter, if I want the BH foam to dwell a bit longer...
Just a heads up - CarChem Black Friday deals go live tonight (IIRC)
Banging value. Last year I picked up 5L of 1900:1 shampoo for under £20. For the weekend warrior thats years of shampoo and its good stuff too
as @imprezaworks suggested, Megs Wash + is a great start.
Depending on how 'new'/'fresh' the LSP is, you might want to consider going whole hog and getting Garage Therapy Decon shampoo. Use it, with warm water, in the foam lance, dwell, blast, round 2 if you want, then use the same stuff in...
Ive found that rubbish glass sealants are usually to blame for wiper judder or the wipers failing to clear water well.
As James said above, making the screen 100% clean of any contaminants but also any previous sealants are a great start.
The Glaco Glass Compound is, by far, the easiest way to...
@CrippsCorner
Sorry to hear you're having troubles.
At the moment, that side of things is on hold. I currently have no kitchen so I'm having to prioritise that...🤣
Oh. And I'm in Japan.
Hope you get it sorted :)
