This is the Carbon canister (drivers side wheel arch)
and This is the acoustic valve (passanger side wheel arch)
If you remove the acoustiv v/v then you need to block the pipe that goes to the inlet manifold. If you remove the carbon canister you will need to leave the solenoid plugged...
A mate of mine uses RS14 pads on his golf, very good pad.
I had ds2500 fitted, they were ok, but are not the best when they get hot, and I don't go out for that long tbh.

After last months Trackday at Anglesey the time had come for new pads and discs.

Thanks to Yozzasport for sorting the pads out and for advise http://www.readyforthetrack.co.uk/

Just gotmemail back from Camskill.
They are awaiting stock, should arrive in the next 7 days at £66 each in 195/50/15 r888 medium compound plus £2.45 delivery per tyre.
I weighed mine when I got them but can't remember now.
Think they were over a kilo more per wheel than a 16" trophy turini. (1.4kg more rings a bell?, they are palmer spec ones by the way the cup spec ones are probable a bit lighter.)
Only takes one t**t,
If it's an open pit lane I find that it's best to stagger your runs if you find a t**t on track, obiously you shouldn't have to but . . .
Nice pics too, they look much better when the backgound is all blurry :approve:
