When the key is inserted does it go fully in or about 80% and stop. If it doesnt go all the way im 95% sure how to solve it but you will lose your steering lock unless you get a new ignition barrel etc..
i had a similar problem with mine - i had to cut my key to get it to work eventually i will put a picture up and explain what i mean inabit i needa eat now
haha was just thinking the same - A thief isnt gunna wanna be banging around with a hammer etc and taking about 20 mins to do each wheel so generally they work
sorry you get sarky dickheads allover the place :rasp: (me) lol. Seriously though id rather spend 200 quid getting my wheels refurbed or something than waste it on an alarm just pull the fuse instead. But anyway good luck!!
Is it a live map ie using rolling roads etc?? Or are they just sticking a generic one on?
I was trying to think if bigger wheels might make a difference on an RR but i cant see it doing much tbh. Wouldnt make a difference either way im sure!!
when i took mine off someone commented that it looked as though it revved a bit harder but that could be the induction noise confusing things. But the way i look at it is less things obstucting airflow the quicker air can enter the engine. It must allow more air in removing the air feed...
I was informed by someone that knew there stuff that cotton was better than foam. at the end of the day there both gunna flow better than paper.
The main reason is is the cotton ones arent soaked in that horrible greasy stuff the foam ones are which is bad for MAF sensors nott hat the clio has...
Thankyou edde - I wasnt suggesting it did i just dont like the light there.
I just wondered if the fact that i had the second sensor out the way if this would effect the fuelling at all or is the second sensor literally just to check the cat is working
Thanks
matt
How often do you hear of modern cars being stolen these days? I think a professional would struggle to disable the immobiliser. Im sure the alarm could be bypassed much easier.
I dont know why people bother with an alarm at all the car has locks an immobiliser and steering lock its not needed in my opinion. People just ignore them anyway
I think the raised Idle speed is a good idea bit lumpy sometimes running low
Henk - What are the advantages of VVT being activated when cold? Also disabling the ignition r****d?
Will be investing in one of these soon i think :)
I like this idea - because if it just comes on with your full beams then whats the problem theres no way your get pulled dont know how you do ti though but would be interested to find out
Got a few sags and runs on my wheel whats the best way to go about sorting it ei what grade wet and dry? I was thinking start with 800-1000 then work my way to 1500 then polish i dunno though
mine came on after 3 months, im gunna buy one of those fastchip thingys to reset it at some point. Will it effect the fuelling if you just cable tie the 2nd lambda to something and block the hole?
The orange one - It feels very dense and quite agressive if you ask me or is this just the design of the menz pads (comparing to sfx1) should i just use this for the first step with more aggresive polishes or will it be okay to use with the fine finishing polishes?? Thanks
Ahh okay i thought you meant that it was screwed internally, the flexi pipe cant really be repaired really so itl be either decat or cat unfortunately :(
