An idea i had was to stick a bolt where the egr sensor should go and just cable tie the 2nd lambda up somewhere but i wasnt sure if it would effect the fuelling etc.. so didnt bother
You can back up your existing ECUs current settings before you upload the new one. So not to sure how you can royally screw it worst comes to worst then you just put the old one back on. Custom maps are fine if youv had serious work done but for mild breathing mods this is your best bet
I think when the engines cold its closed so it picks up the slightly warmer air in the top half of the engine dont know how it would make a difference torque wise though
I wouldnt bother - added hassle. You should look into just getting yours mapped or buy a kit and do it yourself. (I reckon the maps are very similar anyway or tweaked slightly)
The process you have suggested is very sound but taking days to spray a spoiler seems a bit overkill imo.
Although it will give the very best finish im not doubting that, i wouldnt take longer than a day to spray a spoiler. use a heater and it will speed things up
