f**k me that's a lot of washing for a car that's probably going to get dirty again in 5 mins! I normally just PW,use the spinning brush, snowfoam and pw again. Then give it a good waxing.
If it ends up with the nurburgring style ones though, I will be using my own version depicting the real south west :p probably one of the following...

Ok confirmed that the full ECU read creates a .rst file, will have to check the procedure for getting it to write back after I have mapped the car (should be doing that tomorrow) :)
Just a archiving update; I emailed Henk, and apparently the full ECU backup is a .rst file. I haven't tried it yet to confirm, but will post back my result when do!
When you make a backup of you current ECU software/data, is that saved as an rst file? i.e, can the backup be used to restore the ECU completely without the need of an additional rst file if I change software versions?
Ok thanks. I might get the other half to drive it whilst I sit in the back and try and identify a bit better where the sound is coming from. If I cant, then I will let it go a bit longer until it starts to sound at speeds below 50mph.
Ok guys, I have done the coil/axel test and still no joy really. I could feel a slight vibration/clicking on all 4 corners, but I think that was from the brake disc catching every so often? Either way, there was no definite corner that appeared to show more than a very small amount of...
sounds like a dead battery due to non-charging alternator. You need to check the voltage across the battery when its running, it should be at around 14, anything less than 12 and the alternator is not working correctly.
