Fuel filters 150k
plugs 72k but they somtimes don't last that long
Old engine goes back to Renault and they reuse it to make other rebuild engines the places who rebuild them can do it easy enough they do it all day so are setup for the job
Does depends who is doing the mapping more than anything
depends who's mapping. they don't realy die just kill parts which are pushed the engine itself strong.
remap is good value but best srat with the biggest engine power wise and tune that as a remaped 65 is only 90 or so best which isn't...
First problem is going to be the battery or a bad commection on the battery i'd bet battery is on its way out new one sorts it.
As for the speedo its the gearbox speedo sensor its on the back of the gearbox check its ok if it acts up again most lilt need cleaning up connections etc or a new...
Rear wheel bearing going I'd bet easy enough to check jack the wheel off the ground and see if theres any play in the wheel if there a fair bit is compaired with other wheels then its new bearings needed.
There no standard eyes designed to take loads like the harness would give low down though only one realy is on the c pillar ie the rear seat belt mount
WHy are we comparing a questionable weld with anything though if its got to be done do it right IMO
on some seats but doens't mean the...

Could use the c20let engine would be an idea have you used the 6 speed box or gone used a simplier 5 speed one?
as for using the 1.8 engine i'm not sure you'd need a remap etc so easier to use the right loom and ecu.

The day I'm proven right will be a sad day for someone. Hence why I don't want to be proven right.
Intercooler is fine realy best decide how much you want to spend a remap the big thing wll see about 110hp depends how hard they map and torque limit due to the clutch.
130hp is about a clean limit might be capable of more none has tried I'd think 145 might be possible with some smoke but...
ITs not a bad idea to chnage it not difficult to diy etc but its nice to have it all done at once.
ktec will do the realease bearing as well only realy cheap places woulnd't.
A thin FMIC infront of the radiator.
runs about 1.25 bar boost.
gains form a bigger or better intercooler (ie the 100 one is more efficient by 17%) would allow for more power when mapped.
a different turbo would again allow for more power when mapped but stock turbo can give so much...
