depends what you want it for, to go around a track the most desirable would be the cup. for normal use it would be the FF. the non-cups/FF's are the least desirable (for obvious reasons).

measure the resistance between the car body and the output terminal of the fuse. It should be high resistance. your clock not working until you turn the lights on could be due to a blown bulb and completely unrelated.

have you told your browser its allowed to run java applets? In ie9 its in tools (the gear on the right) > Manage Add-ons. also if the above doesn't work, does the java icon show in the system tray?
