lol, just for a laugh.
Active cooling for inlet flow on an NA is possibly quite useless.
Sure, you could use water to cool it, but you'd need a massive surface area to exchange heat, otherwise a matrix jsut becomes a restriction. After that your left with the dialemma of how to cool the...
1.8's do not respond as well as 2ltrs, most people who buy just cams/verniers are usually disappointed.
The problem is that the 1.8 has very mild cams as std, and to get the power out of it you need to rev high, but cams which can hold VE at high rpm's use alot of overlap, couple that with...
yes, but they pump out their already designed diffs all day long, ask for a clio one, or design a clio one and well.......last time there were talks of £1k+ for 10.
Anyway, i'm not a fan of them, never had and never will be.....they dont do what they should, dont help and if you have to have...
i've never found any ATB application any good on road or track, sure they have their benefits, but i'd rather have an open diff than an ATB..........and i like quaife!!!
most cars just understeer like crap after.

Paul, quaife have been doing diffs and gearsets...

But typically, headwork would have to be done in conjunction with manifold...
If you follow the blue/yellow wire from the omex to the coil, you'll see where it splices into the loom to provide the ecu with rpm. Do a continuity test to that plug and you'll have your wire.
Insurance is iffy, if they look and know what to look for, they can tell. But the beauty of the mod is that you cant tell the engine apart from std outside, and would need a good reason to go digging about inside.
Glad it worked out well Matt, thanks for comming so far.
Honestly one of the nicest customers i've ever had.....even made me and the others a cup of tea!!!!!
I cannot gaurantee that it will run perfectly without a remap, there are always anomalies.
If your interested in booking in, please PM or email me.
Thanks!
Yup, i can take an incrediby long time with some jobs, i can only do so much work and so much grinding in a week and when workloads are high, waiting times can be extended.
However, time scales are now sorted and back down to 2 - 4 weeks. I dont offer 3 or 7 day turnarounds on heads, the...
