doubt he wants to spend 5K!
And if you want BIG power its going to cost more than that.
And top fuelers dont run centrifugals...;)
intercoolers and all that, whats the point.....if you dont heatup the charge than you dont need to cool it again.
5 grand!!!!
if you went ofr a budget build then nowhere near that much.
Like i said, wouldnt do a rotrex.
Wouldnt have an intercooler.
Wouldnt have extra injectors
wouldnt dump PAS!!!!!!
No need for low comp pistons.
Going through the roadworks before you turned off.
Cliosport sticker on the rear window, letterbox type exhaust, anthracite wheels i think.
i was behind you in the silver subaru legacy.
Smokey, charging is expensive IF you go for new chargers or fancy chargers.
Rotrex and any other type of centrifugal charger will require an intercooler setup, adiabatic efficiency isnt great. And cost a bomb.
Id plump for a positive displacement charger, a sprintex screw or a Lysholm...
jph, i think your missing the point.
What im seeing is someone that is HIGHLY hypocritical.
First you non stop push BBPT.......which is 100% perfectly fine, nobody cares. If you love their stuff and them, then that is superb, they obviously cater to your needs and expectations 100%...
i fitted bodies and ECu to adis car?
New to me, thought it was mehdis lol.
Why do you want to run the std ignition module setup, youd have to run the dizzy, and it would be much easier/better to run a DIS pack and wasted spark setup.
Ive done the conversion using all the std sensors on...
or just divide by 1.6!???
So you bought the thermocoupling?
Where did you place it?
Its very nice peice of incar kit.
Which wideband does it use? UEGO? NTK?
youll have to explain the symptom a bit clearer.
FBW throttles always give crap throttle response.
BUt are you getting a spitback (burning mixture in the plenham) usually caused by ignition timing or too lean a mixture so the mixture is still burning when the inlet valve opens again.
Or...
sounds like a spit back, most of the time caused by ignition timing which is too retarded, which would also explain the reduced power your experiencing.
Check your coilpacks.
It wont gaurantee it, but something along the lines of cams, exhaust, filter, remap........if that doesnt push it, light headwork and a slight increase in CR.
