IMO, none of the exhausts on offer are anywhere near good. At best they replicate the path of the OE exhaust, use a larger bore and less silencers.
At no point do any of the exhausts have any forward thinking or active effort to solve many of the problems associated with exhaust efficiency...
If you go down to your local Pirtek (fluid transfer solutions type thing) they sell some basically indestructable clear food industry grade wire supported ducting in various sizes. Nice thick skin, not like the crappy fabric/plastic you get everywhere else.
The std system is far from optimum, and you can still get gains.
It just shows how good these exhuast manufacturers are. There is alot that goes into exhaust design and theory, and sadly, most manufacturers dont know the theory and cant implement it in practice.
riding the clutch is a pet hate.
Clutch plate pressure can measure in the thousands of pounds of pressure. People who ride them of hold them in all the time at lights etc are transferring all of that pressure onto the crank and its thrust bearings....which are about the size of an orange...
shall we get one of those massive inflatable boxing rings and setup at GDI?
