Did you have to drop the exhaust or remove any heat shielding? Going to order the plates now think I've got some eye bolts spare. Mounted the eyebolts and speaker plates for my crutch strap today.
They sit behind giving a 20 degree angle as per the Schroth guide.
Which spreader plates did you use? The square shape plates or the thinner rectangular plates?
Also does anyone know how far apart the crotch strap mounting points need to be away from each other?
There's a set of GHA's in the for sale section local too me, my mate breaks clios so parts are easily accessible. Changing the hubs isn't too much of a hassle but splashing out on driveshafts as well doesn't really make worth it.
If I was too change my hubs from 54mm spacing to 60mm would I need to change anything else?
The only reason behind this is to suit a set of coilovers which have came up for sale and a mate of mine has some 60mm hubs.
Thanks
Not sure if this is any use to you, I've marked up what I think seems to be the connector your after.

Picked up some number plate fixings to hide the screws, also got a dual USB socket on its way which I'll mount on the opposite leaving me room to add switches.
Finally got my switch working, pink is the supply and black the load. I think orange is for the illumination of the switch which isn't needed in my case.
Just had a look so much choice! Cheers

Still need to fit the pull cable, and once I get a fire extinguisher kit it has room for that pull cable too.
I'm in the process of making a switch panel for my track car, the only switch I'm wanting to keep is the hazard switch.
I went to Halfords and bought a 17amp rocker switch and set about wiring it, from looking at wiring diagrams I believe the orange cable is the supply, pink the load and black...
Made a start on a switch panel for my hazard and 12v plug, once I get my fan and heater fitted they'll be on there too.
I bought a 17amp rocker switch from Halfords for my hazards but can't get it to work, if someone could give me a link to some decent switches that would be great!
Probably AD08's since you can pick them up for £190 delivered and I'm thinking cup setup with cook sport springs until I get the money for BC's.
What's people's thoughts on the cup setup as I know it's popular but not sure why?
Been cracking on today got my cut off switch fitted just need a couple more p clips to finish it off, race style brake light, removed all the aircon pipes and radiator, fitted door pulls and in the process of painting my scoop.
Well basically I played wire roulette when I had the dash out a couple weeks ago and touch wood the car still starts. I cut the tweeters plugs, esp controller, airbag ecu, radio cables, heater cables back to the main branch of cables leaving just the OBD port and 12v plug.
So in theory Im...
I want to get my loom cut down as I've stripped out most the comforts the car came with, I'm a bit of a fanny when it comes to stuff like this and even though taping it out the way is a cheaper option I still want it done.
Does anyone know where or anyone who can do this? I have no problems...
Got some spare time after work so made a start on my FIA cut off switch, one of the legs on the resistor was loose so I've ordered a new one unfortunately I can't finish it off until it comes. Planning on mounting it in front of the shifter where the airbag ecu used to be.
Thank you he's came on a long way himself! Got him a friend to keep him company as well.
My mate owns a mega Trophy that was built on here can't remember the guys name, he's got it up for sale but if it doesn't sell within the next month he's going to break it so hopefully I can tick some...
Thank you! I believe so, as the dash can be secured down by the 3 screws underneath the windscreeen, not sure about the clocks though. I think most people also remove the metal dash support as well, surprising it's really light and it seemed like more hassle trying to find a new home for the...
So at this point I decided I wanted to go FULLY stripped out as I like the clean look of track cars, so I took to removing the lower dash with the heater, radio and basically anything else that wouldn't be getting used. After removing the lower dash I had an idea to cut it so I can keep the...
Template I made to mark the hole out on the roof.
Finally fitted! Still needs a clear coat but I was expecting to mark it in process of trying it for size whilst cutting the hole.
Bought a new set of front poly windows with sliders and locks from AWC Motorsport plastics and a set...
This build started back in April 2016, a few of my mates got into buying and selling cliosports, I had just sold my last build and got talked into buying a Monaco blue from my mate.
When I first seen the car I knew I wanted it, it seemed all straight and well maintained, that was until I seen...
