I'm looking to buy a new cat back system for my 182, and had been set on getting the Ktec system with a silencer as it seems like it's not too loud but has a nice note when giving it the beans.
But I see Ktec have the Ultra performance system for sale for a little bit more, and wondered if it's...
Re: Go Karting @ Pole Position, Leeds (November, date tbc)
I might come down to watch this to meet some Leeds area RS owners! I race there for student rates with my society at Leeds Uni every other wednesday so can't really afford this especially this end of the year (loan will be heavily dented!)
I used that Dyno iphone app, I know it's not exact but it beeped when my speedo read about 62mph so I assume it's not too far off, and it said 0-60 was 6.38 seconds. I assume it's probably generous by a couple of tenths but for a free app it's cool
1.2 8V Punto Active Sport. Loved her to bits, did all the modifications myself, was slow as fook but never let me down despite the abuse she got occasionally. Returned her to standard when I sold her, and now some rude boi in Lewisham has her. Wish I had the money to keep her and buy my 182 as I...
Sorry to hijack a thread but just wondering what is the difference between noise level and exhaust note of the Janspeed KTec exhaust and Scorpion RS192?
I need a new zaust since mines blowing, and want only a tiny increase in noise on tick over, and a nice note when on the throttle. But I...
Definitley boredom, I love my car, I've had it for under 4 months and am still in the honeymoon stage. But I watched a 3 series BMW spin up his rear wheels today and thought I need RWD next. Already thinking of the next car!
Cheers guys I'm very happy with the outcome! Yeah Christopher's car was the inspiration to paint them white, his is perfect IMO. Agreed with the splitter and lowering needing to be done next, however I think I'll stick with the standard Cup springs for now since it's stiff enough for my uses...
Spent the last week refurbing a damaged set of Cup Turini's. I'm happy with the finished product, although I will definitely be getting them powdercoated next year as cleaning them with my current finish is gonna be a b**ch!
Love the look of the car though, looks more lively, much like it feels!
I have a standard 182 sound system apart from the head unit. It's pretty crap but at the moment it's not worth me upgrading as the speakers will do, but the driver and front passenger seat belt covers (the plastic part behind the doors that covers the seat belt) rattle like crazy when even the...
I went from a 1.2 8v Punto to my 182 and still don't realise how fast I'm going in no time even after 3 and a half months of ownership. So definitely be careful it's not worth binning it after a couple days of ownership! Love the colour!
I've researched about but basically just want to know a couple of opinions on wheel refurbing. I've refurbed wheels before on my old car, but poorly and tbh the finish was uneaven but they were winter wheels in anthracite so I wasn't bothered. But on the Clio I want to do things better so...
Loved it on the punto forum and still looks awesome now. Punto's suit the Euro look way more than an equivalent Clio imo. I love Punto's (not biased :P)
I find the ESP/TC annoying as it cuts power too much sometimes (it can easily be switched off though thankfully), but the Climate control and cruise control are something I've grown to love after having neither in my previous car. Plus the auto xenon headlights are cool. But tbh I think just the...

All my old gear, fantastic condition and the engines are quicker than my 182 to 60!
Seen this before on the road, but saw it today (Thursday) parked opposite the tall rusty looking building down the hill from Leeds Uni. I live about 1.5 miles away in Hyde Park when at Uni so would be good to know if you're on here!
Driving towards Brentwood saw a Clio Williams in immaculate condition. You may have seen me in the passenger seat of a beaten up 1.2 staring at your car as you pulled away!
Sorry to revive this old thread, but I've come across some 16" wheels that are cheaply priced, but they're et35. I know my 182 FF has et45 wheels, so that means the wheels will sit 1cm closer to the arch, but I read that some people have trouble with scrubbing, some don't. Could a couple of...
Maybe you need to soften the front end up? My limited racing knowledge with RWD cars included softening up the rear to improve traction, might be similar on FWD cars, correct me if I'm wrong!
If you go to view it, make sure you open the bonnet and listen to the engine on tick over. When I was viewing 182's loads of them had rattly top ends when warm on tick over, and they all seemed to be the ones that had harder looking lives. Found one owend by an older lady and it ticks over...
Cheers mate, looks like I'll be joining the queue looking for Sport arch liner then
And I'll check the ring tomorrow, will be glad to get rid of this pedal judder!
