After eight years of worry-free 182 ownership, I've started to get worried about security. The reason: an FN2 Honda Civic Type R was recently stolen from my road in south east London without the need for any smashed windows or breaking of steering lock. Whatever tool the criminals had at their...
I managed to source an L-shaped piece of metal on eBay, which enabled me to bolt it through the subframe and then mount the pretensioner to it. This is the part here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seatbelt-Bracket-Buckle-Van-Conversion-Classic-Car-7-16th-Bolts-Washers-Nuts-/292018623843
Hope that...
Just called the three top garages close to my address on that ^ and two said they're not confident doing camber with elongated bolt holes, and the other quoted me £144!
Seems a bit steep?
I've fitted a set of Bilstein B14s to my 182 and want to get the wheels aligned, including camber (the B14s have an elongated hole to allow adjustment).
My local garage doesn't offer camber adjustments as part of its wheel alignment, so I wondered if anyone has a recommendation for a...
@MrBlonde Looks awesome. My B14s are on now and set slightly higher. I can't believe how good the ride is - all the crashiness of the standard setup has gone.

I'm fitting a set of Bilstein B14s this weekend and wondered if anyone had a good recommendation for what height to run a car at.
I'm taking the car (it's sat on 16in Speedline Turinis) on track next month but most of its life is spent on B-roads, so I'm looking for a good fast road setup (so...
It is, yep. I was thinking that, but since the Yozza centre pipe twists towards the left side of the car to join to the back box, I'm a little concerned another brand's centre pipe might not fit
I'm wanting to lower the volume of my 182's Yozzsport cat back exhaust system because I'm getting old.
My question is has anyone ever welded in a silencer to the centre section of the original Yozza exhaust system? If yes, how does it affect the volume and tone?
I'm assuming such a mod would...
I've been reading the sticky for how to switch the airbag and SERV light off when you've removed your driver's airbag.
Can someone confirm, is this 4.3K ohm resistor the same as 4.3 ohm (which is what is recommended on cliosport)?
Sorry for the noob question, but I can't find an answer anywhere.
Interestingly I now have his phone numbers (both mobile and landline).
Does anyone know what rights I have in this case? Am I not legally entitled to anything since this transaction was via PayPal gift? Or does his written promise for a product count as a contract of some sort? Any help is much...
I emailed the PayPal account I paid to and got a response today from his ex-girlfriend apologising, saying he owes lots of people money and she's got a restraining order against him.
Explains his attitude to me when I politely messaged asking for a refund. He sounds like a low life.
I paid via...
Has anyone else lost money with Black Sheep Flocking, the company that used to flock interior parts before it folded earlier this year?
I'd dealt with them before and bought about £20 worth of bits which were great. Saw their work with dash tops on here so sent my dash top to them along with...
Yep, I'm still here. The car also features in the evo Magazine Fast Fleet, though not very often these days. She's just ticked over 119,000 miles and is still going strong.
Just skimmed the comments on the old CT video - there are LOTS of Clio haters out there who clearly have no knowledge of...
Thanks for the help guys. I switched both cylinder 2 and 3's injectors for new Magneti Marelli ones. Problem fixed.
@dann2707 I used an OBD reader to diagnose that it was related to the ignition. It also told me the issue was in cylinder 2 (and occasionally 3!).
So my car appears to have a slight misfire on cylinder 2 (by slight, I mean that it appears to be firing weakly). I changed the plugs, coil pack and leads but the problem didn't go away. Then oddly, according to my OBD2 reader the misfire shifted to cylinder 3, before shifting back to cylinder 2...
Fitted fine, and did improve volume and bass. But they're only good for OEM replacement in something like a well specced clio!
Best taking the advice above for a better setup [emoji106]
