:) Surprised you're not in work! It was just the way the light looked...thought I'd mention it...just in case.
Have you checked the spring? (Get a thread up in the mechanical section to see what the knowledgeable ones on PH1s can tell you) :)
Rich, you know my feelings on the Flamer...best PH1 colour...with Mondiale Blue being best on PH2s ;)
Is the right light out in that pic???
Did you manage to sort the throttle cable?
He did...and bless her, she saw my Cup, Jay's Cup and Chris's 182 and commented how the Arctic Blue looked nice on all 3 of them. ;)
I did tell her that the Cup's were different...:quiet:
I thought you'd followed Chris! Sorry...we drove for a few minutes, then still couldn't see you, so thought you'd gone the other way.
I told you it existed, so had to find it and put it on here. although £25K for funky seats and a couple of extra horses...don't think so! ;)
I don't care...still worth more than yours! ;) Now about that bonnet bra....erm nah!!! :rasp: :quiet:
Good Pics Stu....the weather was only poor when we met up, became quite nice afterwards, the only thing putting us off eating outside was the wet seats.
As for the area, Mandy told me to go...
As said, Charlie, Simon (and the other lad who I don't know) build every exhaust from scratch for your car. If you want a particular thing/sound/style, tell them what you want, and they'll do it for you. just remember that if it isn't stealth, it will be louder.
Mine is a mid-sport note...
Good result Scott...especially as you've got AC in the car! (That can rob the power of a couple of horses).
You sure you're flamer isn't a Cup painted Red? ;)
I put the 172 Cup on a proper weighbridge with calibrated scales...mine came out fully loaded at 1021Kg...I didn't realise the 182Cup was so heavy!
Same as a 172. Every 12K with Aux belt every 36K and Cam belt (plus Aux belt) @ 72K or 5 years.
You need to get the cambelt kit and replace the pulleys also. Other guys who know more about it than me will be on soon enough. :)
Myself and Mandy (Pink Lady) are the Area Reps for the West Midlands.
We've just had a meet over in Star City the other week...so keep your eyes out for the next meet. :)
Not got anything planned so far. We need a week or 2 notice so we can drum up interest. If you PM me which dates are good for you, we can try and organise a mini meet (bite to eat at a pub or something) one evening in the first week in May.
If this is Cosford by Wolves, then one of the guys has a black 182 is down here.
If you are down there, we have meets around the area, and if you're not on guard or working, you're more than welcome to come along to a meet.
That was what I paid for the sealed bearings for the Cup a couple of weeks ago! but that was a ring with the bearings inside. The motor factors I went to are renowned for being the cheapest in Telford. So I dunno.
