Yeah, they are dark but look blacked out in the pics, the lenses are completely clear, zero tint!
Too much, but the basics are
Darton sleeved block
Cp custom oversized Pistons
Manley turbo tuff rods
Cosworth cams
Manley springs/retainers
Cusco twin plate clutch
FP red, ball bearing hta turbo...
Ha! One was brought in for a friend, who's sold his car and now selling the red one lol
Nothing too much more on mine, cage was test fitted, towers tacked in and then I started to strip it out, re-routed some wiring and got a spot weld bit to get rid of brackets etc. Awaiting final welding...
Had my Ten out for a blast yesterday, ran a tank of fuel through it and had some fun :tonguewink: Just some phone pics, light was fading so not as clear as I'd like, but driving is more fun than snapping :smilingimp:
As above, don't put yourself at risk with that cheap tat. Out of Fia date 3" 4/5 point with snap on fixings and quality buckle will be safe and more comfortable when pulled tight.
there will always be something bigger and better, but for a track car I'm so happy with my Clio, capable and cheap to buy bits for, when my cup is dead I'd like to build a nice RB 182 :)
Now I have my cage I've decided to go a bit more hardcore with the interior, ditch the carpets and any other bits I can live without and paint the bare interior. I'd like to see what you've done with your footwells, sitting in the car the strengthening rib that runs towards the brake pedal feels...
Probably not releated but I've been having problems with the latest studio, getting error codes constantly, I did a search and grabbed an older version again and have had no problems since.
the cat doesn't hang off any mounts, best bet would be to get a cheap used one off here and have flanged welded on your system. No benefit decating these, may as well make it easier at mot time by having one, and it will quieten your system
Well it's fitted, bit meh about it tbh, not sure I like it, maybe come alive and be useful on track, but I find the LEDs hard to read on the road, but of a blur, maybe I need to start the sequence earlier or even later to run them together more......6100 to red light at 6800 and flash at 6900...
Do you have a link to the he ones at that price? I have better suspension in my head now, it's just a matter of how fa I want to go on an old shitter of a Clio :poo::tonguewink:
