I can't fully answer that. My timer was there from when I first removed the pretensioners and air bags. I've since gone further and removed the Ecu and stripped the loom back, timer is still in there :)
I don't know tbh, with the assistance 70% + it's smooth though, which points to the column/motor being ok and just me not liking it.....maybe, possibly, hhmmmmmmm
Looped cup rack. it's like a split second between turning the wheel and assistance kicking in, I can feel it really obviously. Dead straight there seems to be a dead spot. Turning assistance almost off it's a bit juddery, like it's kicking in and dropping out which isn't good mid corner. On...
I'm so disappointed with mine, on the road feels ok, lack of return is odd at first, but on track it was horrible 😧 hope you're happier with yours, wish I hadn't bothered  I'm hoping another day out in it will make me gel with it, the assistance is odd to say the least. Maybe a...
or just do what I did, bin the lot and have the dash lights in a little ignition fed timer that puts them on and off after a few seconds.......s**t you have to do to get an mot
yeah, it's only when you leave it in a car park and when you come back someone's parked next to it in a Range Rover or the like and it hits home just how small they are, love them though :) I was looking for a Brabus but this came up with superb spec at a good price and as we've never had a soft...
I've been waiting over a month for tweeks to deliver mine, didn't know if snakebelly meant them or Nankangs :) I'm hoping for great things, I'll be gutted if they don't at least match 888s
You couldn't actually be more wrong! I can't see me ever being without one, character and fun, I find them strangely relaxing to drive. No good as a main car, but great to have around (number 5 in our house!)
You should, it would surprise you! Not sure about the merc, the lovely GT just down from it caught my eye when I was meant to be examining the smart, it's a merc main dealer so lots of tasty stuff on the forecourt
Last pic as it's all I took
I did pretty well on my old one, lost just over £2k in almost 3 years, bought this one pretty well too, I'd love a Brabus but this was too good to pass up
I know most people hate them but I love having a Smart, just chopped my 09 silver passion in for this '14 Grandstyle edition turbo cab, sat nav, leather, colour scheme is odd but Emma loves it to bits, hopefully pick it up on Saturday :)
I had a 330mm OMP GP and found it too small and flat. My driving position needs a bit of a dish in the wheel. So much happier with my OMP WRC 350mm on track now

yeah, not far off what I did, couple of miles of 30-40 zone stops to get me onto the motorway, then some heavy ones, never to a dead stop, hardly touched the brakes at all getting home, then they cooled completely, no different to what I did last time tbh, or the time before with the DS2500s...
No mate, not pointing the finger at all, just looking for some opinions on what could've gone wrong
@George@RTR_Parts any idea what's happened? :hushed:
Ok, so a bit of background. I did a full year of track days last year on one set of discs and two sets of pads. I fitted a brand new set of Brembo HC discs which I had from last year and DS1.11 pads from George last week, my second set of those. I bedded them in the usual way, 8-10 high speed to...
