They all do at some point 172 can be stopped by unplugging the second sesnor the 182 all with at some time just need to clear it or get a few good clean starts again.
Personaly I'd get a sports cat if you realy want to chanage but realy I'd keep the stock one anyway.
Stick with the stock clutch its £80 ish from motorfactories etc and IMO the best to use (although I'd go for a Renault one) forget anything uprated stock is better for OE and even way over OE power levels IMO.
For the effort I bet the 182 Cup was a better money maker which is all they realy car about like all businessess.
To develope other bits costs keeping near stock bit is cheaper.
Yep its cheap enough £20 for 5 liters which is all you need realy. You should only use the renault ype D stuff gsf sell type D cheaper than renault list I belive.
No problem glad i could be some use.
This might help you on how to change the disks and pads etc as the 172 is much the same realy

Well check you do have the 259mm brakes you should though then just go in and find the fdb845 pads yourself from the shelves then ask at the counter for the disk tell them the details and then when they get them out check they are 259mm as they often get them wrong or the computers tells them...
Apart form the fact that picture he's put up for other brake pads and he hasn't mentioned a supplier name or codes for the parts and being as there cheap I'd keep well away.
Personaly the R27 is over priced you could get them new for less and with the sales as they are now they should be more willing then again they have ofered a over price fot your car so realy the R27 is being offered to you for £13.5k and to me thats still over priced I personaly wouldn't go for...
There ungrove there vented though.
Groved should in theory help cooling but you get less disk are so breaking area as such plus ungroved are often better built many of the groved are useless quality unless you go for a expensive famous name type.
Forget groved there for looks only IMO.
There loads of choice IMO stock is more than enough stock pads are FDB 845 (along with others) £17 ish from Halfords I realy think there very good then disk well Halfords sell the disks for £60 for a set go to other places and you can get the disks...
