valves both float and bounce, but its the rod stretch and contact between pistona nd head that would worry me. WOrk harden them, mas into balls of metal, rods burting through the block walls, crank shattering.......
Last thing i would be worried about is valve float and bounce.
The willy/megane pistons or even the 172 pistons will take the boost, but id check the compression height first, i cant remember but i think its much higher and that would result in too much fo a compression ratio drop.
Jc5 is in the 172 yes.
Id just plump for some dedicated low comp...
i snigger at this ^^^^^
you wont get over 200 on TBs alone.
And TBs on a nice rebuilt F7 engine for 200 bhp will cost circa 5K. Its not just parts you need.
DO we really have to go over this all again.
The 172/182 same engine, same things apply.
Megane engine is a willy engine with a slightly better cast block, crank and different head/inlet manifold. The port shape is better for non-full racing applcations.
A search will reveal all.
In the front?
Not a massive fan of the scoob engine, too costly.
I would deffo go with a 350odd bhp NA V6.......the noise would kill alone.
But if pure performance is your goal, id junk the V6.
Get a 250 Kart. ;P
