Can't argue with this. Not sure the BTB will give dickman anymore noise though - just a better sound. I'll suggest a remap from Fastchip aswell and maybe a de-cat or BTB 182 cat mod. This little lot will give you a noticeable increase in performance and drivability. BTB prices have gone up a...
Nilfisk all the way. I've had loads of Karchers and they all fail in the end - do a search on detailingworld. The Nilfisks can't be beaten at the £300 price level imo.
The 182 cat is a proper sports cat. It has 200 cells, has metal internals (not ceramic) and contains a lot of precious metal (unlike cheap aftermarket sports cats). This is why it doesn't illuminate the emissions light and passes the MOT with ease.
Do they really fail that often?

Also, as you mentioned Northamptonshire, BTB will have a brand new batch of exhausts for the 182 available next week. Probably fit them for free if you ask them nicely. Before you ask, I don't know the...
If you have a little more money to spend and want one of the best, there will be 5 BTB systems available in 10 days time. Not sure how noisy it is compared to standard though.
Don't normally have anytime to machine polish my own car, but I spent 16 hours on it a couple of weeks ago. Not perfect, but the car has done 80k. Had some sun today so I thought I would capture the finish before the winter sets in. Hope the shots are of some interest.

You need to find an alignment place that uses the Hunter systems. Costs about £50 for the front alignment and they align with the steering wheel clamped straight. This website might help http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/
