They're not directional/rotational.
They have an outer edge, and an inside edge.
So long as it says 'outside' on the outside it's all good, regardless of what direction the tread goes at the edges.
Mine's a hybrid...
Centre silencer ripped itself open throughout the day at at Bovington recently, so K-Tec threw on a new one under warranty...not bad seeing as the old one was 5 years and 105,000 miles old!
So I now have a mk2 centre section and mk1 rear. 1st video above was all mk1, 2nd...
LOL at completely missing the point of what Evo mag are getting at.
Would I rather hear an Italian V8 or a French in-line 4? A V8 of course but WTF has that got to do with the drive?

I'll add that mid corner lifting and the subsequent weight transfer will only really give you trouble if you're going for it, working it, leaning on the tyres.
Try giving it a lift on a slowish clear-sighted safe corner...great fun :approve:
With the same brand but different sizes the only thing I've noticed is it moves about a bit more when making progress on 195s.
Apart from that balance, braking etc. are all the same.
You'd notice more of a difference in a brand change than from an increse/reduction from/to 195/205.
