Coolants high as this was a picture before I started the engine as I allowed extra coolant for when the new thermostat had opened and to catch a few of the trapped air pockets in the cooling system :rasp: and it was also re-bleed after this pic ;)

looking at what you have got there as a screen shot i would guess front lambda sensor starter motor brake switch check the carbon canister solenoid/piping check your door switches as door light warning on and go from there does it run all ok ?

A genuine alternator is just over £200 and a genuine aux belt kit at £70 so its not far off the price I'm afraid :-/

Check that your bottom pulley hasn't fallen apart as that's the same noise I had when the bottom pulley had fallen apart a it has rubber in the middle

I'm still undecided if fitting a whiteline ARB to a daily car is right idea are they that good and do they really transform the handling to the rear ??

Yeah managed to put it on a Renault clip no faults what so ever and have already fitted 2 new lambda sensors it holds back even when I had the de-cat on so I no it's not the cat playing up or blocked

went for a drive today and it didnt hold back or surge in power :dapprove: sort of feels like the fueling is wrong for the car or sumit ???

i know how you feel buddy had my 1/4 panel key'd also :mad: scumbags!!! and yeah a few added costs when i was removing bits but cant be helped you only find these things out when you start pulling it apart

Since remapping my Clio 182 with an RS tuner with the 98ron my car at 70-80mph my car surges and holds back on power just as if I have the speed limiter on but I don't have spoke to henk and he assured me that it would sort its self out but I did the map over a month ago and still the same have...

Yep as stated above you have a bad connection on 1 or both the rear light connections easily fixable with a small file

as far as i can work out Renault are still having problems with the catches failing so as a final fix/wash of there hands they are re-calling over 5k cars which have either missed the 1st recall or eligiable for a 2nd recall, Renault dealers are replacing the catches and affix-ing another yellow...
