check the engine wiring loom at where it connects to the throttle body (back of engine in the centre under a black security box)
also if you have NGK spark Plugs get rid of them as 1.2 16v hate them
i would recommend a new seatbelt its a sign that something is wrong with that belt ie; crap/dirt,fluff built up in the mechanism or something more serious
when you pull the wiper stalk towards you does screen wash come out the front or the back and also check the washer pipe for leaks you can also disconnect the washer pipe from the bonnet jet and just see if it squirts washer fluid out from the pipe
perhaps just a stored fault that never got erased check all you abs rings r fitted correct and not broken and that all abs sensors r connected correctly erase all the faults and try from there
yes that black plastic you found should be attached to the glass to hold it into the runner you can buy a new 1 with a new rivet from renault for a few £££ then just needs fitting to glass carefully and then slotting the glass back into the runner
jack up the front and turn the steering fully right or left and manually try and spin the wheels to see if its your driveshaft joints seizing up, has any of your driveshaft joint gaitors been leaking or split ??
its a manufaturing hole when making the bonnet skin and injection moulding mark for the slam panel trim the white residue around the hole is road salt!! and will form on any corner/edge of anything exposed to road conditions Nothing wrong with your car :rasp:
check all ur drain tubes the also drain into ur scuttle panel so that means checking ur scuttle drain tubes as they could be blocked and back filling up ur sunroof drain tubes ;)
right with what you have said hear is a little test todo to determin if the PAS is working
# turn ur ingnition on so light are displayed (engine not running)
# using one hand pull down on steering wheel so u have a bit of resistance

could be an abs fault check ur driveshafts to see if ur cv gator clip hasnt come off and gone over ur abs ring :dapprove: have had one at work that ended up being an abs unit as it was an internal fault in the abs unit :eek: but check the basics and if nothing comes up worth booking in to...
i would get ur alternator checked b4 you put a new belt kit on make sure all the pulleys and idle gears move freely and are no seized they dont tend to throw belts possiable that the belt was fitted incorrect ?
