    Advice Needed

It was dry mate, for the next session I'm looking at some R1R's to see how I get on. Also some tuition if I can find some near home. The front camber is stock, I do have bolt's but I've not had a chance to get on and setup properly, I read around -2 is sufficient ? Standard front ARB with black...

    Advice Needed

I do suspect the Rainports may have been one of the issues, being quite new they have huge treadblocks and are quite squishy. I probably also got the pressures wrong. I'm looking at some R1R's for the next session :) I've read that front spacers can upset the scrub radius, and 20mm is rather...

    Advice Needed

Hiya, Yesterday I took the ph1 to the track for the first time (First time I've done a track day and first time for the car since being rebuilt) at teeside autodrome, quite a tight track with lots of twisty stuff. Had a great time and the car was pretty much faultless with the exception of a...

Just hit level 30 on this and 30 DZ. what sort of builds are people going for ? I'm starting to think stacking health is pointless, I go down like a sack of spuds ! Currently got about 56k firearms 88k stamina.

    common rear rattles?

I've had a persistent rattle in every clio I've owned above the rear passenger window. I'm yet to track down what's causing it but it sounds like it's coming from the area the rear belt retreats to.

Can anyone recognise cause of my handling problem - no steering control at speed

I recently had problems similar to what you describe, normal at lower speeds but once near 70 the car seemed to be unsettled and uncomfortable changing direction at speed. It also used to tramline something nasty. Slightly play in a tie rod and rod end along with too much toe out was my issue...

    Temp too low ?

The issue with them was the tops on them not sealing the plug hole properly so water could get in, unsure if this has changed now.

whats the grippiest tyres i can get for front?

Track rod's and Track rod ends will be worth checking. Check for play in the wheel side to side in the air. How is your tyre wear across the tread ?

Straight Through Centre for KTEC / Janspeed Exhaust

It's possible to do on the cheap if you are handy with tools. Take the current centre section off and cut the silencer off, buy a straight 2.5" piece of pipe long enough and connect it up with something like this:

Anyone fitted gear stick bush kit before and how

Yanoo made some stiff shift kits which came with pretty good instruction, should be some PDF's or video's on his site: http://www.dp-automotive.hu/dpa_developments.html#q5

    Starter solenoid clicking

TDC Sensor on top of the gearbox. Loses connection and it just clicks with no start. It's often on the plug/loom rather then the sensor. I've read the sensor is in the same place as the manual, so the above image should help. Best of luck

    Opening bonnet on locked car?

Get a long piece of wire and an empty toilet roll holder. Pull the top of the passenger door away from the car (Easier the further towards the back of the car you go) and slide the toilet roll holder into the gap and run the wire through, aim for the central locking button. It's fiddly but...

    Just got my first car!

Welcome ! I echo much of the above, first car is all about learning, you really couldn't go far wrong with becoming a full member on here and having a look through the projects section and read some of the bigger builds (Burpspeed was one of my biggest influences for building my own sport...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Got to consider vram too, 2GB a card does not equate to 4gb total (As each card is often working from the same texture sets, it's almost mirrored on both sets of RAM) Same with tri and quad configurations. DX12 should remove this, but unsure if it's just going to be exclusive to DX12 pure...

    Rear Calliper Handbrake Arm

Hiya, Had an issue on the weekend where the handbrake arm on the rear calliper (Where the handbrake cable hooks onto) snapped, are these removable ? I'm looking to buy a spare calliper and swap the arm over. I've just bled the rear callipers is all and I'd like to avoid removing it if I can.

    Odd PH1 issue

Hiya, Bit of a strange one here, I bought a lovely PH1 a few months ago that I've been rebuilding, when I bought it I noticed I had to hold the fob button to start the car (I believe this is an immobiliser override) after inspecting under the bonnet it appears there is a relay override in...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

believe it or not none of the pearl settled in the block, the majority attached itself to the tubing and the rest in the bottom of the resivoir. Just rinsed out, but one more job you don't want to be doing when changing the coolant.

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Well I had the mayhems coolant in for a few months now, almost all of the pearl has fallen out of the coolant and settled in te radiator and bottom of the resivoir (despite being setup as they advise it to be) Recently got a block for the 690 so used the opportunity to change the coolant and...

Best value 55" 4K and surround package

Personally I wouldn't be adopting 4K (TV anyway) for a while, there's almost no content and by the time there is, the tech will have developed beyond where it's at now.
