Bump. I have just finished modding my bones this way and somehow have managed to end up with different gaps each side. Can anyone see problems elongating the front hole so that they are the same and leaving the hole elongated without welding up the space left?

TBH I wouldn't bother, I think I paid Suffolk flocking services about £120 to do my top dash and its perfect - not worth messing about as those kits are pants I believe. Dash removal is easy
