Thanks for the info... I take it the performance of the 2 is negligible, but you reckon the Yozza would be noticeably quieter?
I do quite like the idea of keeping the 2.5" bore throughout though, as I'll be very tempted by the RS2 if I still have my car in 2 years... but anyway, I think I...
Interesting, where did you hear that? As I was under the impression from things I've read that it was a standard db system too.
I've had mine on for over a year, and I do like it when on full chat... but with my new job I'll be doing more motorway/carriageway miles, and plus I want to make a...
I currently have a Ktec sports cat and silenced SS stealth system, but I think I’m getting old before my time and I’m getting annoyed at how droney and intrusive it is at 60+mph. I do like the sound of it when pushing on, but it’s getting on my wick when cruising and even slightly embarrassing...
Well I ordered the sportlines from Kam Racing this morning, and they're being sent out today...!
Thanks to whoever I spoke to at Kam Racing, excellent service; and cheers for all of the replies!
Thanks for clearing that up Fred, it will definitely be the sports if any then...!
The Apex definitely have a very low ride quality, which is why I'm thinking of making the change... I was just wondering if the difference will be 'night and day' or only marginally noticeable?!
I know there are a lot of threads stating Eibach are superior to Apex, but most are comparing the Eibachs to larger drops than 30mm...
So, I'm just wondering if anyone has done this, and if so, was there a noticeable difference in ride quality?
(I'm still undecided on pro’s or sports, so looking...
Right... Had the alignment checked (twice), and there is an average difference of 29 minutes more negative camber (on affected side), and 26.5 minutes more toe.
Here are the results:
So, I take it something is bent (although there was roughly the same additional camber on the front...
Cheers for the responses... so it's more likey to be something bent as opposed to worn or collapsed?
I'll get it booked in as soon as I can to get it checked out... would kwik fit or an independent tyre place be adequate, or would it have to be a specialist?
I had my car on a ramp and noticed the inner 2-3” of the rear n/s tyre is wearing really quickly... visually there seems to be more -ve camber on that side. Nothing seemed obviously bent, and no leaks on the shocks.
The tyres were new in Jan, when I fitted new wheels, and I do not remember...
Thanks for the posts, I went with CoPilot in the end... not sure if it was the best option, but I was pretty impressed!
Went from Plymouth to Rugby, a few places up there, and then back down south... I found it pretty smooth, and the routes were all right (swapping between quickest and...
Really can't decide between the 2... both are very similar in features and price (including the in-app purchases required, TSS and Postcode respectively)
Reviews seem to favour CoPilot due to value, but with Navigon being reduced to £19.99 it's unclear which is the best option...
Has...
Hi and welcome... there's quite a few from the SW, if you're interested there is a mailing list for Devon & Cornwall: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?490401-Devon-Cornwall-members-list
I had a 'sporty' longlife system on mine, also unsilenced... only managed to survive a week of it!
I found it 'felt' quicker when I swapped it over, probably due to the fact that I wasn't getting annoyed everytime I put my foot down!
I'm thinking about getting my wheel re-trimmed and just wanted to confirm that the controls/buttons on a non cup are detachable?
I just want to make sure there are no differences between the 2 wheels (for exchange purposes)...
Thanks in advance
Definitely... I only noticed it today, whilst stuck in traffic, and it's already winding me up! I'll see if I can get it on a ramp tomorrow, and I'll let you know if I find anything!
