    cambelt problems (local garages)

Called at a renault main dealer last week to ask for a price for all belts/dephaser and waterpump. Got a private plate on my car that the system wouldn't recognise. They needed the original reg (that I don't have since I bought the car with the plate already on). Tried to reason with the...

    Rear wiper gremlins

Good morning all, Soon as I sort one niggle with the clio, another appears. Latest is that whenever I start the car the rear wiper will run continuously for a few minutes until it turns itself off. Had a search on here and it doesn't seem there's an obvious solution...

    Squeaking when going on/off throttle

Good morning all :) When I fist start my car from cold there's a squeaking coming from the engine bay when I apply the throttle and come off. Cruising it's fine and after 5 minutes driving it goes away. Would I be right in thinking i've got a sticky pulley somewhere? Or something else...

    Isofix bar removal

Done - after reading up on here I was expecting it to weigh a ton. 2.3kg. /\ Dave's right - thick boot lining weighs 2kg by itself. Came out with just a ratchet - but was pre-soaked for a couple of hours with WD40.

    Flocked dash, Yay or Nay?

Does look mega-s**t in a car that isn't heavily modded elsewhere inside. Looks sweet inside that rallye above /\

    Isofix bar removal

Been having a look through some old threads for weight saving ideas and removing the isofix bar seems quite popular. Apparently weights a bit. Just a quick question - does it affect the rear seatbelts in anyway, or is it purely for attaching baby seats? Obviously don't want to endanger any...

I've had 4 k110 v12 evo's fitted this week and i'm seriously impressed by them. For a mid range tyre they perform well.

Who's come back to a renaultsport?

I must admit, wringing it's neck is still a bit of a novelty. I'm used to lazy turbocharged cars so having something that revs to over 7k is fun.

Who's come back to a renaultsport?

Inspired by the "Nissan GTR" thread - who here has come back to a renaultsport clio after dabbling elsewhere? I've owned some quick cars in the past (some very quick), but having bought the Clio 182 as a "stop-gap" i honestly can't see myself selling up and moving on for a good while. Other...
