Bloody battery won't fit :@

Typed in my number plate in euro car parts and the list of battery's came up, ordered a Bosch S3 005 but it won't fit, my old ones much smaller, the Bosch is about 3cm over the cold air feed into the airbox??

I've looked at the other batteries on ECP's and there the same size ...

Should be an 063, lots of motor factors tell you it should be an 065, to big

These are the details, what battery should it be please? Someone said it was an 065? I can't see that on my battery, maybe I've got another version but still too big, sorry or being vague I'm on my pone, here what I've got:

I had three (!!!) starter motors off them today and two of them were duff.

065 = Incorrect. Too big, won't fit, small gap, nada....

Yeah none of the above numbers matched what i have, so 092 would make sense... So ill tell them i need an 063 and hope they don't melt under the pressure of getting it right next time.

Alrite fellas, i now need a new un myself and upon searching found this thread.

Can anyone tell us which batteries will defo fit? i put my Reg into the motor factor sites and it only seems to come up with 027 batteries by Bosch!

Looking to get a Bosch one that fits.

Anyone point us in the right direction? Will that one in the second link that guysy put up fit ok??

most of the cars I see have an 065 fitted and the airbox pipe can't be conected

i fitted a Bosch S4 type 027 battery and it fitted fine, had it spare in garage. Slightly higher CCA at 540cca and 60ah.

Same width, slightly taller and longer.
