@Amos91, good advice on the brake pedal trick (y)
Is braided the way to go? I ideally only want to replace the damaged section - caliper to beam join no idea on exactly what it's called.
Ok, I may have got that wrong  just been out to check with my torch! and it seems to run across the rear beam and THEN down towards the front passenger wheel.
I couldn't see where it unscrews but it was pitch black!
Cheers for the abuse lads😆 I thought i'd try a different method after someone did it this way, I do normally just take the lid of the reservoir.
Schoolboy error.
p.s I did intend to bleed them anyway as they are due, dust the old Gunson off.
Changed front pads today and afterwards my foot goes to the floor :( now I've done pads a few times and never had this issue.
I realise 9/10 it's air in the system but not sure that's the issue tbh.
I did crack open the bleed nipples whilst compressing the piston back - only drained less than...
Couldn't prise them apart!
Sort of tried that but no idea what I was doing!
In Manchester James so not a million miles away!
Windows 7 32 bit which I was told is OK.
Gone in now, currently light is off but no doubt when he moves the seat it will come on.
Will report back.
... I can get the airbag light off, any suggestions?
I've got a CLIP however I can't install the software for some reason so any other way to get it off?
It's intermittent when the seats slide back etc so it will be the wiring under, got some resistors knocked about but not 100% where they...
Cheers lads for the heads up on that, I passed on it but suddenly noticed a few bids go in once linked on here:ROFLMAO:
Anyway, I ended up paying a bit more - it came with cables but no CD software
Where can I get the software from for win xp 32bit or win 7 64bit??

I've been after a clip for a while but i see it comes with only the 16pin obd lead so no 12pin Renault lead or CD software.
Can the 12pin and software be got separately? couldn't find it after a quick search.
Yeah I did think about going this route tbh but when the mechanic said it was the tensioner and it being less than 12mths old it wound me up! i then realised it's French and it's a Renault so i shouldn't be surprised!
I expected RPD to just replace the part but that didn't happen, would have...
Back again and need some advice.
I am just off the phone to Renault and the car is getting looked at on Friday after much debate but anyway they said IF they find no fault they will charge us £100 for the pleasure.
Now my question is, the mechanic who told me it was 100% the tensioner has gone...
Bump.
I just thought I'd update this for everyone and for future reference.
It was a duff Tensoiner, less than 12mths old too so waiting on Renault to see where I stand regards replacement.
@Mbeau, well done;)
