Very nice indeed !!
Are you thinking of offering this as a package for other Clios owners?
Do the seats recline forward? Are these seats lighter than the standard 172 ones? I guess the cup seats are lighter than the std. 172 anyway.
Nice one Nick ! Where are you taking the cold air feed from - the front fog light??
Roamer, must be difficult working woth 100 mm ducting. I was able to feed the 80 mm stuff through a hole in a bracket in front of the battery and down to fit under the head light. Used a plastic scoop that sits...
HI Roamer. Thats the place I bought my WYREM from !
Where abouts in the engine bay are you having difficulty with the bends? Have you got any photos to show?
On a hunch I reckon both PU Vinylflex and PU Superflex will work. I remember seeing piping like the PU Superflex in a Clio Cup Race...
Nick,
Problem with the piping the BMC supply is it splits quite easy and isnt that flexible for tight bends. You might want to try some WYREM - it is definately more flexible than the tin foil coated cardboard !
Looks good though mate. Also I didnt put that CDA sticker on mine - prefer the...
Slayer,
I recommend Wyrem which is available from http://www.flexiblehose.co.uk/products/hose/wyrem.htmhttp://www.flexiblehose.co.uk/products/hose/wyrem.htm.
They do it in 3.1/4" diameter which is 81.25 mm. This stuff is very flexible and heat resistant !
I use it for exactly the same...
Bit of a difference in price between the two. When I spotted your plate down the seafront it wasnt hard to guess that you were called Leanne !
I wanted W14TTS not so long ago and some git snapped it up a couple of days before I went to get it. My advice - dont mess about if youve got the money...

Hi mate, nice car.
Roughly how much did it cost for the supercharger conversion and how long did GMC have the car for?
Must be easy to wheel spin it - have you thought about the race logic traction control system - perhaps that would help with your standing starts??

Sounds like a bad connection. Ive had this a long time ago. The wire was very worn - like a couple of strands left, so cut and rejoined. But to find it was a bummer !

My understanding is that you need to cater for the Lambda senors. Drill two holes and weld in Two Mild Steel Nuts so the existing lambda sensors will fit. Nut size for 172 is 18mm with a 1.5 mm thread (from memory). Think I mentioned it in a previous post. Youll need to go to a Fasteners to get...
I personally also like the idea of having a "I raced this" forum to split out that stuff from General as well then the people who dont like that stuff wont see it and the people that do like it will have there own area to contribute to.
Engine tuning posts such as Supercharger, Turbocharger...
Nick what modifications have you got to make then from the NOS feed to go direct port? Is it just a case of branching of from the main NOS feed into 4 seperate branches then tapping into the inlet manifold 4 times?
Also have you checked to see if the Nozzle kit is available. I think this kit...

My mk1 has a twin cat for sure. The twin cat doesnt look like it will flow very well - in areas the piping is very narrow. I would have thought that the single cat would flow better. What factor are you concerned with when you talk about better?

Guys,
Ive got a modified Devil Decat pipe and have two lambda sensors. The cat light has only ever come on once - about 10 days after having it fitted. It stayed on for half a day and has never been back on. Did do the claimed ECU reset trick - dont know if that helped. I remember reving the...
Someone with a 172 Cup will be going to the same weight bridge soon with a full tank of petrol. The bridge is certified by the Department of Transport.
Anyway the good thing about using the same place is that we can compare differences between all the cars that have gone on.
