What chip for clio 172 mk1

i am thinking about getting a chip but dont know which one to get, i know that bb tuning are launching a ecu performance chip in the next few days (so he told me) but which one will give most power, hill power, k-tec, superchip or bb tuning ?

i got a few mods magnex exhaust system + green element filter i want the bhp to be above the 180s

Well, k-tecs chip is only available for a mk1 172, so youre in luck there....

Ive not got anything bad to say about superchips, but Dave @ Power Engineering / London superChips did a custom map session for me, so its different to the standard.

Is k-tecs chip setup on a rolling road Roamer - i.e. custom map session like yours?

If you go for a physical chip then it would have the map of the car it was developed on. Your setup will be different, even the engine will be different, we all know that if you wear Addidas size 7s they need to be 8s in Nikes..LOL! so BBs and K-tecs chip would be different for their own development cars.....not yours, so the only way would be to custom map it.

They load in the standard settings and then make a couple of tweeks to the program to take into account the finer details and hey presto...you have a dedicated remap for your car. Plus there are no obvious signs of a chip being fitted.....insurance????

If you fancy a custom map I am getting mine done shortly, when the zorst goes on and the Viper fitted so we can maybe book in together and get a bit of discount!!! would be nice!!!

How about getting a Cliosport day of remapping, now there has to be an opportunity for massive discount!!!!!

Craigy - you could always buy my group N ecu yours for £300 and even says Renault on the back of it (proper renault equipment) used for Group N rallying. Thats right Brun, but its not PE that do it but London Superchips. They have an office in the same building and use PEs rollers.
