Tim - I have spoken to a tuner that has fitted those Kent Cams to their car and unfortunately they didnt get those claimed results.
They saw less than 5 bhp gain.
Colombo & Bariani of italy, Technomap and efjie do 172 cams as well.
Ive bought tyres from them and the shopping experience for me was faultless. I dont know about the origin of the tyres though - thats something I never thought of considering - but I should now. I bought a pair of Avons which seem OK.
Unfortunately on the Renault Clio 172 Track day someone crashed their 172 and didnt have insurance. Was alot of body panel damage and the guy had to explain this to his Girl Friend who used the car as well. At the end of the day its a personal decision on how you view risk.
Ive heard a rumour...
I remember Jeremy saying that they will continue making and selling it in the UK until they cease production of the 172. They didnt want to run into similar issues that occured with the Williams 1 and then they upset 1 owners by bringing out the 2. I guess they might release a 172 Cup Exclusive...

I think the power to weight ratio of the bug-eyed WRX is much lower than the old skool scooby. But saying that I understand that it is quite easy to mod. a WRX for not too much money and get close to 300 bhp. In this guise the WRX will be quicker than a UK sti and thats confirmed from a vert...
Ive raced loads of rear wheel drive ones. Most of them cane me because they arent standard - my mate has got 280 bhp and that it quite mildly tuned and over 60 mph just leaves me. I had a go with what I think must have been a std. one, me in mine, him and his mate. from 40 mph 2nd gear he didnt...
These cars seem to be very rare. Ive searched the internet can cant find very much about it - everything seems to be Integrale based which is understandable.Hes had to do loads of welding cos of rust but now its sorted. Its got a 1.6 (twin cam I think) engine with the integrale manifold/turbo so...

One of my mates has a Lancia Delta HF Turbo (Martini special edition - twin head lights) that he is rebuilding. Apparently it has an Integrale Turbo and custom manifold/exhaust and runs 160 bhp with no other mods. The standard fuel injected cars were 140 bhp.
Opinions please on the HF turbo...
My mate had one back in 92 and it was rare then. From memory it was Silver and im pretty sure colour coded. It was based on the original Renault 5 shape as in the picture above but defin. looked nice ! He was rather pants when it came to driving it fast so never got to experience the performance...

Strange, mine came on yesterday ! while driving in heavy rain. has come on twice before (from coldstart) and then gone off the next day. Mine has only been doing it since I put a cat replacement pipe in. In my case it must be something to do with the lambda sensors taking readings that are...
Hi Ben, before I go for the whole cone and bonnet affair im going to try out my existing BMC which luckily has a 70mm diameter outlet going to the throttle body !. How cool is that. Just need to get that custom pipe with 70mm at both ends. What is the purpose of that small rubber aux. pipe...
