    I think we need to arrange a weighbridge session near a petrol station. Fill the cars up. Bin the spare wheel on MK1 and MK2 as cup has no spare. Make sure no other non std. items on cars. Then weigh and compare!

    Would be interesting to know where the blib receiver is located in the car to test for wire breakage, etc. The starter motor would turn on mine but the engine wouldnt fire up. The small red light on the dash was flashing very quickly. Have changed to the spare key fobs - touch wood !

    I dont have the knowledge/experience to do the inlet manifold/ecu work so will need to get quotes and then get it done. Then once everything is ready need to get it all setup on the rollers. Have to speak to some firms and see what they can do in this area.

    Thats a very valid point about the weight thing! When we weighed 172s on a weigh bridge we had full tanks of fuel. perhaps 40 to 50 kg of weight. Do renault publish vehicle weight based on a full tank of petrol as well?
