Hello all.. May remember me from making this... Now I'm on to the next thing for my new Clio.. Would like to re-create something similar to Colin satchells 205 airbox/306 Maxi style box to allow better bonnet clearance aswell as trumpet to filter clearance. Just wondering has anyone...

Some of my work is for a company that can check the map and get a print out for me, had my standard 182 on there and that was 175bhp so thats a fairly accurate starting point. Going there today to have a look :)

Not in the slightest :) I know what your on about, its alot ofmoney The same amount could of got 250ish with boost but after trying boost its just not for me, throttle response and fun is what I'm after :) Glad the expensive work has been done for me though haha.

Standard 172 - 165bhp 4-5k later you get 40bhp. It's a hell of a difference over my old standard 182 and thr noise is worth 5k all day long ;)

I am indeed going to get the map checked as Im in the motorsport area so thats no problem. 205bhp in a Clio is farrr quicker and more fun than my 300bhp evo. Paid strong money for it going off what other ones to this spec go for but I just had to have it and take it to the next level :) It is...

Well I cant compete with these sub £200 set ups as the cores we use come to around that figure alone...

DDo it once, do it right. I make aluminium motorsport items, radiators, oil coolers, catch tanks etc etc. Using the highest quality cores as we supply wrc, British superbikes etc and have no issues. Plus I dont mess around on the welding ;) Aston Martin DB2 radiator It's a no brainer...

Just to check something... Me and a friend will be going in my car.. Ive got a ticket and stand pass but he doesnt have a ticket, will they be selling tickets on the gate early or am I going to have to be late onto the stand and wait for 9am? :/

It seems to be enough yeahh :) just abit of added security with the mk2 version though haha

I would say it's more than enough, mines still solid mounted after 2k miles and a track day and all is fine.

A little update, here is the mk2 version with revised rubber mount.. Hope you all like :)

Noticed a few 182's and 2 172 cups there today... Aswell as a black 182 with turini's when leaving and then a black 172 with turini's around Worcester

Saw a few there tonight including this minter aswell as another liquid yellow that is around there all the time

We are using a revised bracket mount which has a rubber bobbin to cope with any engine movement aswell.
