Thanks Dan.
Will it also mean that because I already have mod's in place that should see around 205bhp I will therefore require less boost to hit the same bhp as if I had standard inlet and cams? Ideally I would like 260bhp, is this okay on a standard bottom end?
I already have Jenvey 45mm ITB's and GT cams (428 profile). Would adding a rotrex be pointless me having the ITB's or would it just be even better?:)
...Also, if the Rotrex and ITB's do work, will trumpet length play as big a part as a N/A engine? I have both 90mm and 120mm trumpets
I don't have any ball joint pullers, I have never needed them as I have big hammers ;)
I have never had any trouble with the track rod ends so would just advise heating them up and giving them another go.....Blow torch rather than a hair dryer though:p
I replaced mine with these http://www.bike-kingaccessories.co.uk/tiumph-bsa-norton-british-bike-fork-gaitors-2234-p.asp
Double check the measurements of your damper bodies before buying the ones that I have linked as I can't remember the size off the top of my head
Pretty sure it's only spelt different....How much difference is there between Arctic blue and Mondial Blue? lol
I will let you know when it is back in my really tidy garage...
Update!
..Sort of, no pictures until Monday I'm afraid but I have just had a text informing me that my cage is all done! :D Monday we will start putting the seat bars in and sorting the location of the steering column and bracing it to the dash bar.
I sent the front back as the internal bushes gave up after 1500 miles. They were rebuilt under warranty and not re valved :)
When/if the spring rates are changed they will be re valved at the same time
No worries Dan...money is money ;)
Will have to have a look at the spring rates as I don't know off the top of my head. They will probably be changed sometime in the near future anyway to dial in the car how I want it and match it spot on with its overall weight.
Glad that I have been of some inspiration to you!
Once the shell is back I will do my best to work like a trojan to hopefully have it complete by March sometime...Dan and Scott, you will have to work hard too :p
Coming soon.
Should have the car back by the end of this month. I know I have been saying that now for the last..I don't know how long but really this time it will be!
